Critical: Punctuality, QualityThis was my first time coming here. Don’t get me wrong, this place has a very cute aesthetic and decor on the inside, but I was not pleased with my service. Although I had an appointment scheduled, it still took just over 2 hours for me to simply have old dip soaked off and to get new dip powder—no manicure, no pedicure, just dip nails.After only having my nails done for 4 days, they’ve started to chip really bad. Prior to coming here, I’ve NEVER experienced my nails chipping while wearing dip! I could sometimes go as long as 3 weeks without any cracking or chipping while wearing dip done elsewhere. I’m not sure if it’s the brand of dip powder this salon uses or what, but it’s awful and quite a waste of money. I found this place searching Google. I read the existing reviews which were mostly good so I decided to try them and I was not disappointed. They did a great job on my nails. I do the gel dip powder and they lasted 3 weeks without cracking, chipping or loosening. My nail tech who did my nail design did it exactly like the picture that I showed her. I will definitely keep going to them for the time that I’m in Germantown. Just a FYI, you’ll have to call ahead and make an appointment if you want designs on your nails but they take walkins otherwise.

I typically enjoy going to Nail Bar, but I have noticed the past 2 times I’ve gone that my dip powder is only lasting a week (if that). The atmosphere is great and customer service is awesome, however, it is a bit disappointing to spend a decent amount of money on nails and have them chip off (and break my real nails) after only a couple days of getting them done. Below I’ve posted Day 1- first pic 10/16 (freshly done nails) the next 2 pics are exactly 1 week later (10/23).

I came in an hour before closing and they said that they couldn’t assist me. When I walked in, the energy was off. I definitely felt racially profiled. The staff did not seem like they wanted to help me at all… if you stop accepting appointments at a certain time, then your hours should end at that point versus staying open just to turn people away. I will not be back!

It’s ok. Looks much fancier than it is. The nail work is awesome, but last I was there the place needs some TLC. Also their chairs along the bar are so not comfortable and happened to snag my work pants. Haven’t been back since.

Really wanted to like this place, THe vibe is soo mee!! My friend gave me a gift certificate for my birthday to come here. The services are great, and my nails chipped after like 2 days on both my hands and feet. It was the shortest lasting medi and pedi I’ve ever had.

Everyone is so nice and accommodating! The staff gives great recommendations if you aren’t sure what to get done. I’ve never had a better experience at any other nail salon. Their dip selection is great and I can go 3 weeks without having to go get them done!
