If I could give this salon zero stars, I would. Went in with a Groupon and asked for additional services. First of all, it was not efficient in the slightest. They were way overbooked, and when a woman came in ten minutes late for her appointment, she was VERY RUDELY turned away. So even though Ana was nice, I was immediately scared of her.

My daughter and I went to Elite as I am new to Manhattan and wanted to try a Groupon. I have to say that Ana did a wonderful job on both of us. My hair is long, gray, curly and unruly but I looked wonderful when I left. She gave me a cut that is easy to maintain and my hair sparkles from the conditioning treatment. My daughters hair is long and straight and she left with a layered look that gives her hair a sexy swing and also looks and feels great. We will both be back. Ana proves that good haircuts come in small packages, so don’t let the size of the salon scare you off. Thanks Ana!! We both love our new haircuts.

Went for color, highlights and cut. What a wonderful experience. Small salon with big talent. Anna did a terrific job on my hair. She used a conditioner that was amazing. Color lasted longer than usual. My hair felt and looked great. Will be going back soon. Also have referred men including 19 yr old son to the mens stylist. Great. Add to this the more than reasonable prices and A+

Anna was very friendly and explained all her costs and services upfront. If you’re unsure about anything, just ask her! Her price list could be updated to reflect the different types of hair color treatment, but she did a very pleasant job with my hair color!

Best highlighting job I’ve had in NYC at a great price. If you’re someone who dreads finding a new salon, as I did, go to Elite. I told my hairdresser, Ana that my hair pulled major brassy overtones and she is the first hairdresser who got my color combination right the first time. Bravo and thank you!

Small salon that just opened in September. Bought the groupon to try someplace new. The salon would not accept it stating I’d been there before… which I have not. This group of Russians are CONFRONTATIONAL and ACCUSATORY. Disorganized with their management, rude to their customers. Would NOT trust them to do my hair. Ruined my day and everyone else’s who was at the salon. Horrible experience here and NOT recommended.

Made appointment using LivingSocial. When I arrived the co-owner tried to upcharge me (first $120, then 60, then 50) saying the color my daughter wanted wasn’t included in the deal. When I explained that the ad didn’t contain anything about that in the fine print, her excuse was that her partner placed the ad. In addition, on a 90 degree day, the place was sweltering.
