I began working with Mark last summer and the experience has been amazing. I have myotonic dystrophy and have lost the feeling in my feet and struggled with balance issues for a couple years. Within 3 treatments of “goofy” exercises I began to feel my feet and my balance has improved drastically since my first visit.

Working with Mark has been a total game-changer for my health. I was struggling with fairly intense lower back pain and had tried just about everything else I could to fix it (PT, acupuncture, stretching, massage, etc). Nothing helped it feel permanently better until I landed here, thanks to a great referral! Still on the pathway to healing, but I feel significantly better and experience much less pain than I have in years. I have recommended Mark to everyone I know that is experiencing muscle dysfunction or pain of some sort, especially those who have tried other treatment modalities to address it without success. Thank you, Mark!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI was diagnosed with overtraining syndrome a few years ago. It was so difficult to exercise, my mobility was shot, and I constantly had headaches. Dr. Mark was the only person who was able to help me properly recover, and now I’m fully back in the swing of sports, lifting, running, etc. This review is past due, but I am so grateful!

After a full-elbow replacement, I ended up with less than 50% range of motion of my wrist and elbow. I had physical therapy for 3 months and went back to my surgeon who said I should have full-range of motion without additional surgery. He had no solution, and I felt everyone had given up on me. My colleague suggested Muscle Restoration. Mark Rise gave me hope and developed a recovery plan that could help me. After using the Beamer and receiving target massages, I have 85%-90% range of motion. I can now enjoy an active lifestyle of bicycling, kayaking and hiking. My suggestion to you is to give MR a try.

As a member of the Sports Medicine team for the Colorado Eagles Hockey Club, I can say with confidence that Mark Rise is your guy for muscle restoration. He has helped our Eagles players on numerous occasions – particularly, during playoffs. His methods have proven to be quick and effective. He is also diligent with his follow up care to make sure the athlete has long term success. I would recommend any athlete to see Mark for muscle restoration needs.

I went to Muscle Restoration after I had been in a car accident. I was in a lot of pain and had many months of recovery ahead of me. With the help of my massage therapist, Julia, I was able to remain mobile and as close to pain free as possible. She was able to tune into what my body needed and provided an insurmountable amount of relief. I am forever thankful to the staff at Muscle Restoration for their genuine care. I plan on joining their monthly massage program, as well. It’s a great deal and helps keep me moving!

MRT saved me! I’d tried an MD, two different styles of chiropractic (traditional and network), medical massage, physical therapy, and acupuncture, but nothing helped beyond 24 hours and nobody had any more options to offer me. 18 months into knee, low back, groin, and shoulder pain bad enough to make be stop working out and making it hard to walk or even drive, my network chiropractor referred me to Mark Rise at MRT, and I could tell by the end of the first appointment that it had helped. The only question was whether it would “stick” as Mark explained it would because it would retrain the muscles causing my problems. Now I go for maintenance appointments as needed, but am back to boot camp workouts at age 61 and rarely think about the pain or limitations I used to deal with constantly. When I do feel minor symptoms in my weak areas, I use what Mark has taught me to “magically” make them disappear in 30 seconds to a few minutes. On top of his great work, Mark is one of the nicest people I know.

5 days before my wedding, I woke up unable to move because of back pain. I have never experienced back pain at this level. There was no accident or known injury to point to. Co-workers is mine spoke of the ‘back wizard’ in Ft. Collins and I got the earliest appointment I could. I walked into Mark’s office on Tuesday at a 8 out of 10 on the pain scale and 4 days before my wedding. I walked out at a 0. No drugs. I went back on Friday for more ‘tweaking’ and he had me stand and walk in my heels I was wearing for the wedding just to make sure I would make it through. He gave me his personal cell in case I had issues on my wedding day. I was pain free the entire weekend. Unbelievable. I will continue to see him for a hip injury that doctors and physical therapist can’t seem to figure out.

I was dealing with what I thought was a torn abdominal muscle/hernia for 8 months. I had MRI’s, CT Scans, Ultra Sounds, and other appointments and spent $1,000’s in imaging fees, co-pays, etc. Nothing was found and nothing could be done to help me. ONE APPOINTMENT with Mark not only figured out what the problem was (it was a nerve issue in my neck not communicating to my core area, possibly from whiplash sometime in the past 20 years), but he was able to correct it as well as give me exercises to keep the problem from returning. I went on my first jog in 8 months 3 days after the appointment. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mark and his practices. They work!
