Critical: ProfessionalismNormally a really good nail salon, love how they do their pedicures but maybe my nail tech was just having a bad day, I got an acrylic nail set, medium length with just French tip. (I’ll show the inspo pic then what I got). During the appointment she complained about three times how she was going to be over time because of the nail art I wanted on some of the French tip fingers. I booked the most amount of time I could on the website leaving us with an hour and half. She made little conversation with me through the appointment. It was my first time coming here for getting acrylics and I heard they do a pretty good job, but didn’t get her attitude. I was just over the constant complaining and lack of customer service that once she finished my French tips I said I was done and wanted to go, to forget about the nail art since she kept saying she would be over time even though we still had a decent amount of time for the design. I was checking out and she said the total was $80, I asked her how it came up to that total since it was just a French tip short- medium length as shown in the pictures and she said $65 acrylic $15 French tip. Normally a really good nail salon, love how they do their pedicures but maybe my nail tech was just having a bad day, I got an acrylic nail set, medium length with just French tip. (I’ll show the inspo pic then what I got). Critical: ProfessionalismSo I went in for the first time to this shop, where they said they recognized me and my niece ( I just moved to the area two weeks ago) so impossible. They were very short with me , I tried to communicate with them I was new to the area and I’m not who she recognized but she was so sure . I then felt uncomfortable the whole time because anytime I would try to communicate how I wanted my nails she was short with me, I then continued , when I called they told me it’s extra for length and design and Matte , she then charged me extra for different colors on my nails at the end. My nails have streaks going down them and where she admittedly messed up on two nails are completely different colored then the ones on my other hand. I’ve wrote them but I will not return after spending over 150$ with them and the weird interaction with her. I was given this salon by someone who’s had a good experience but I myself won’t return. The work is pretty but not quality and comes with a bad attitude . So I went in for the first time to this shop, where they said they recognized me and my niece ( I just moved to the area two weeks ago) so impossible. They were very short with me , I tried to communicate with them I was new to the area and I’m not who she recognized but she was so sure . Had to get my nails done for my baby shower and I never do my nails. So I thought I’ll check out this place because I loved the work I seen on Instagram. Oh my I loved every minute and thinking about starting to do my nails more often and go back here for sure lovely girl name Destiny was my nail artist she was so amazing and sweet couldn’t be more happy with my nails and the service I got.

The Tang sisters really outdo themselves in their art and the environment they have created for their salon. I have been coming to them for 4+ years now and have never been disappointed by a single set or experience ive had with them. I always enter the salon happy to be there and leave in an even better mood because of the quality of work and service I receive. I definitely recommend booking in advance , however they do take walk ins and have two other amazing nail techs that do a beautiful job. Karen and Aiai are extremely popular in the area so if you do decide to book with them make sure you are on time or if you need to cancel you do it in a timely manner because they do charge a fee if you fail to do so . I saw someone commented negatively about this so i felt the need to say this; I think its common sense and just common courtesy to communicate with your nail tech if you are running late/cant make it to your appointment. Hands-down the greatest nail salon in Santa Maria/Orcutt! The Tang sisters really outdo themselves in their art and the environment they have created for their salon. I have been coming to them for 4+ years now and have never been disappointed by a single set or experience ive had with them. I always enter the salon happy to be there and leave in an even better mood because of the quality of work and service I receive. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. I was asked if I wanted anything to drink. I was able to choose my pedicure color. I also had acrylics done and they came out just how I wanted them.
