I love that he takes such good care of first responders.. he takes the time to listen to what you want and adds a personal touch to your visit, which is rare in today’s age. Great visit! So, I normally have off during the week, typically Tuesday to get stuff done, but no hair cut today. I recently went to a charity event and won three hair cuts in a silent auction. I decided to try out Mr. Petes since I had these haircuts I bid on and won. First I drove 20 minutes to get there, then the lights are on with an open sign on the door, but the door was locked. I assumed the barber was on lunch, so no big deal I would wait in the car. An hour later still, no sign of this place being open other than the lights on and the open sign on the door. I am sure Mr. Pete is a nice guy and I looked forward to having his service. The logo on the certificate said a “Barber shop of the past Is still alive in Corrales”, I am not so sure. I will give Mr. Petes a chance to have the stars adjusted but right now I am upset for the wasted time, and lack of business.

Same experience as another reviewer, lights on, fan going, open sign in the door but locked up tight. Took a long walk and 1.5 hours later, still locked up.Apparently it’s hit or miss here.
