This was the worst experience I’ve had at any spa. I used a Groupon for 1hr massage/facial and made an appointment 2 weeks in advance; when I got there I was told that if I paid cash they would honor my appointment but if I used my Groupon I would have to rebook even though they had already confirmed my appt beforehand. Spent 30min arguing that they didnt have staff for the appt, but if i paid cash they did, which makes no sense. After finally getting to my appt, I informed the masseuse I wanted harder pressure on my massage and they upcharged me for a deep tissue massage which i did not request. Come time for the facial the tech was so rough on my skin that I was bleeding. I asked her to please be more gentle and she said it was better for my skin; laughed and told me it was good for me when she saw I was crying because it hurt so bad. I will never come back here. Worst experience of my life and left feeling much worse than when I came in.

I had great customer service they were very accommodating flexible and also if they don’t have available spots they will call you if something opens up and I really appreciate that kind of service definitely will be returning I got a facial and an amazing massage with hot stones

I do not recommend the facial at all but the deep massage with hot stone was realllyyyy relaxing. Would come back for the massage.

Here visiting a few days from Utah, after an epic day at Disney, my son’s wife and I wanted to have a spa day instead of joining the rest of our group at 6 flags. We got on the schedule and wow!! Tina did a wonderful job on deep tissue massage and Mary was so kind and detail oriented giving me a very thorough pore clean and refreshing facial. My nephew exclaimed how much younger I looked when I was done and told me how kind Tim the receptionist had chatted with him and kept him company while he waited for us. Customer service was so sincere, I left feeling like family after Dot introduced herself as Tim’s mom and the staff gathered to say goodbye:) Will definitely have Modern Day Spa with Mary and Tina on my schedule for future trips to CA!! Thank you thank you so much!!

This was an amazing experience! I bought a deal on Groupon to surprise my mom for a Mother’s Day treat.. well turns out I had issues with the coupon but no problem I was able to paypal the good looking gentleman at the front desk. They were very patient with me. Everyone was so friendly. I have to say linda, you have magical hands!! Best massage ever, I also added Microdermabrasion to my facial and Linda was amazing! I am so happy!

Had the 60 minute full body hot stone massage. I was only passing through, for just a few days in Huntington Beach area. Saw the good reviews on here and it wasn’t a disappointment It’s true this place was excellent. My wife had the microderibration facial. She loved it as well. I would definitely be back to this place. I highly recommend as well.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityBeware! Beware! First bad review I’ve felt compelled to write! I was so excited to find this deal on Groupon, and called to arrange our appointment. “Dot” offered to see if they could fit us in on Saturday and would call me back to confirm if that would happen. I have the voicemail she left on my phone confirming Saturday at 12pm, and then received another call from “Timothy” again confirming the 12pm appointment. So we purchased our groupons and then I received another call from Dot saying she would NOT book us due to there being a party of four, they’re booked out months, us buying through Groupon, and that we should have bought in-house etc etc. The excuses and lies kept coming and coming. Just beware, as good as the deal seems it seems this is a very dishonest place. They confirm your appointment, let you purchase and then maybe they hope you aren’t able to refund. Linda is my go to gal who is very nice and friendly. I have been with her for a year or so. I like getting my facial and massage with her and look forward to it every time. She is available Thursday – Saturday so call her to book ASAP.
