I recently moved to Stoughton and was looking for a new nail salon. I tried a few others in town before I found MKA. I have been doing my nails/toes for 25yrs and can say this salon is amazing!!! The first time I went on a Sunday morning without making an appointment and

I love their work. But I wish they had more people working. I got my nails done about a month and two weeks as of today July 10. I called and made an appointment for last Friday July 8. I got to my appointment 15 minutes which I was okay with because my appointment was scheduled for 2:30. 3pm hit and still nothing all they said was it will be a little wait. I couldn’t wait and unfortunately had to leave.

The pedicure was fine but it was weird that one girl did my pedicure then 2 other ppl worked on my nails, I kept getting passed around basically. Also my nails aren’t as thin as I’d like, they also didn’t clip my cuticules and/or go as far as they could on my nail bed so it looks like I got my nails done a week ago when it was like 2 days ago

Started off with great service only had to wait 2 minutes for a 1030 appointment for an acrylic refill. As soon as I sat down they said my previous nails were “no good”. I said I just wanted a refill and wasn’t looking to get a full set. They said it yet again “no good” and I agreed. I got my nails drilled off by a lady and sat with foil for about 10 mins. Then I was shuffled around in different chairs finally sitting down with an older looking nail tech man. Then, he took off the acrylic and when I said “ouch” very clearly twice, he never stopped and continued. Once I saw my nails without acrylic, I wanted to do jut gel and he agreed. Then he took out the acrylic and I said “oh no acrylic just gel”. he refused and I repeated agin and he just put the acrylic on disregarding what I wanted done. He continued and I showed my nail design. He was very rough and grabby. At the end, I received no massage and was charged $65 dollars. never have I been charged that much and the friend I was with got charged $90??!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Although the nail techs are really good, they do need to get more staff. Even when I have an appointment I am constantly told to come back or I have to wait over 30 minutes. Many times I have made an appointment and they have taken a walk in, in my place then told me theyre full !!! I have been going there for years, always refer people, and tip and still have to deal with this ! Then when I come last minute they are full and can’t squeeze me in because they only have 2 people who handle nails, and 1-2 people who handle pedicures. As a growing buisness, you’re staff should be growing to so you can maintain your clientele. When someone calls to book an appointment I don’t even see him write it in the book so that’s probably why it’s all over the place because he tries to rely on his memory. If the nail techs weren’t so good at their job i would’ve given 1 star !!

VERY EXPENSIVE!! When I usually get a full acrylic set it’s between $40-50 dollars, I paid $80 and they didn’t even use a base coat or a hand massage. The service was rude and my friend wanted a refill and they wanted to do a full set and when she said no they ignored her. She ended up getting her refill but paid $65 for gel??!! The salon was very disorganized and someone was charged $90 for a mani and pedi??!! There was no sign with prices they seemed to make it up in there head. I don’t recommend. Poor quality. Poor service. And VERY expensive.

They do good work but When I went to remove my nails, they ripped an acrylic nail off forcefully, no acetone! nothing! I winced in pain and asked them to not do that, I didn’t receive an apology. they just came up with an excuse of why they had to do that. I also have a cut on my finger, I politely asked them to not get acetone in it, they wrapped the tin foil over my cut and soaked it with acetone which caused me alot of pain. It was so careless and I felt like livestock. I will not be returning, they are quick to take your money but when it comes to helping you out, they are just like everyone else, rude, cold and unapologetic. This was my regular spot, its a shame how carelessly they treated me. 1/10

First time trying this place out after months of searching for a new salon that does great acrylics (long, coffin, gel). I got a full set and they came out perfect. The shape, length, everything is on point. Service was fast and friendly. Salon was clean and welcoming. I’ll definitely be going back for fills and pedicures too. Nail art, Acrylic nails
