I was there on the weekend, we called ahead and I shouldn’t have gone based on the phone call. Asked if they could do two pedicures, and said we would be there within 30 mins, yes and hung up. When we got there, asked to choose our colors and to sit. A sweet younger girl came over to ask us if we’d like beverages and once back with 4oz of water and mimosa, lead us to our chairs. My pedicure started out great with the younger girl. Very attentive to being gentle using a new sponge/exfoliating, even commented on how nice my feet were. My aunts pedicure was already at finishing bath starting to polish, they didn’t massage her. At that point another woman came over and without words to the younger girl shooed her off, then came the pain. She first apologized for the newer girl and that they were understaffed and she appreciated our patience. She was so aggressive with massage! Flinched in pain but that didn’t indicate to her to ease up. She then got out the cuticle cutters, again rough and rushing. She cut the cuticle on my left big toe and poured over what felt like acid to stop the bleeding continued to finish up my hack job and then left to do another clients manicure. So yes I could have left with out finishing but I stayed as now another woman was going to paint them. She checked the wound and continued. Also my aunts pedi was finished at this point. Rushed through job and didn’t do enough coats to cover a toe nail blemish. So then pay, for two very different pedicures, they were the same cost, water and mimosa were same price. Only cash payment. It’s been three days and I am nursing a nice infection, hoping not to need to seek medical. Added photo for clarity, note the blackened nail was not a result of the pedicure.

UPDATE: I went back to Mimosa for the first time since I had my son and I just so blown away at the quality. I’ve been going to another nail shop in my neighborhood but the quality has been bad and the technique is mediocre. Today I seen Peter and he was amazing! The second picture is from today. He took such good care of my nails & handled my few request with excellence!!

My friend & I went to go get our nails done. My pedicure got started right away while my friend was waiting for what felt like 30 minutes just to get her mani started. The lady who did my feet seemed like she hated her job, did my feet so aggressively to where it hurt. The lady who did my friends nails was rushing her and was also being aggressive towards her.

My bridal party took me here for pedicures a couple of weeks ago and WOW! What amazing service! They knew it was a bachelorette event and had the whole place decorated! They put a wedding slide show on the TV screen, had fresh cut fruit, and of course mimosas! Not only was the service top notch, my toes still look great! Two weeks and not a single chipped nail! Their salon was clean and all equipment was opened from a sterile package. Thank you Mimosa Nail Bar!

Dee and her sister were the only ones there near closing when I arrived with my friend. Dee took care of me and my friend and her sister took care of two other girls getting manicures. They were both so friendly and happy to help. You could tell they were short-staffed and honestly I would have understood if they told us they couldn’t handle us all at once, but they did it anyway and didn’t cut any corners or do rush jobs on either of us. They gave us great quality service, and with smiles and warmth. And I can honestly say I’ve never been to a salon where the technicians were so lovely, nice, and even funny. It felt like family. I will definitely be going back, the next chance I get and I think I’ll bring a gift when I come back too!

THE BEST SALON I have been to in so long! I’ve tried so many around the Pearl district and the ladies here are so incredibly sweet and such perfectionists! They took so much time with our nails and they turned out AMAZING! Plus a free mimosa…what more could you want!?!

Manicure and pedicure were both quite nice, but I should note that prices on the website are wrong (as of this writing).

Just had the best experience with this salon. They fit me in last minute at closing time when I found out I had to leave for Florida in 30 hours. I haven’t gotten a pedicure in months and this tired RN had sad feet and two thumb nails that had gel fake nails stuck on them still ( for weeks, I’m a mess). She fixed me all up with a gel pedi, complete with leg massage, and gave me a mini manicure as well so I didn’t have to come tomorrow morning. Only charged an extra $15 for all the extra care she did. Thank you! Will be back!

Critical: CleanlinessI’ve gone to this place a few times but my last trip here just kind of turned me off from going back. I went in for a basic manicure and noticed my nail tech was not using new manicure products. As soon as she was done doing my nails she put the nail file, buffer, cuticle cutter, and other tools caps back on and put them back in a cup. no sanitation at all. Since COVID, I haven’t had a single manicure that didn’t use completely new, disposable materials for each person so this just really grossed me out to be honest. Not to mention i popped in quickly on my lunch break, there was no one else in here, and it somehow still took almost an hour and a half for a very basic manicure. The end result was a nice manicure but i’m not sure i’m willing to overlook the obvious sanitation for the end product. I did really like this place because the owner is very kind and I appreciate what they do, I just hope they can get on top of the sanitation practice part of thingsService: ManicureI’ve gone to this place a few times but my last trip here just kind of turned me off from going back.
