I’ve been coming to this place for about 5 years now, the barbers are pretty good. However recently I’ve been noticing that anytime the shop if full with people the barbers rush with the haircuts and mess up the haircuts because they just want to get to the next person. This was my 5th time where my haircut was rushed and messed up, and I tried telling him to slow down but he never listened. Please try taking at-least 20-30 minutes on one person instead of 5-7 minutes. I’m very disappointed

The barbers are really talented, yet somehow very quick. Only problem (and it’s kind of a big one) is they ONLY accept cash. I really don’t get why, because the average price for a haircut there is $17, so they wouldn’t incur a credit card fee. It’s very inconvenient.

DONT GO HERE. Honestly If i could give -5 stars I would. The most unprofessional place I’ve ever seen. My wife was getting her hair dyed and she was crying out of burning pain from the chemicals and he responds to tell her “don’t cry here you’re not in pain go home and cry. i don’t wanna hear it” like who tf says that??? extremely unprofessional and now her hair is completely fried and damaged a week before wedding and she has chemical burns. If I was there he would’ve been dealt with physically.

What can I say, I’ve been going to Andrew for the past 1 year and lately he’s been acting up. He doesn’t listen what I have to say, and anytime I try telling him to fix me from here and there he gives me the worst attitude. Doesn’t cut the same length, always in a hurry. Takes no time actually cut the hair properly. Never coming back to him again

Truly the best men’s haircuts and shaves in all of Chicagoland. I normally do my own grooming, but needed a professional for my wedding. I was told by several friends to go to Mikel’s and ask for Andy, and he did not disappoint. I looked great!
