Please, whatever you do… DO NOT GO HERE! This place is an absolute joke. Arrive at 8:45am for a 9am appointment. Greeted by a nurse at 9:10 and she took me to an exam room. After 5 minutes of pointless interaction and “info verification”, she left at 9:15am and said, “The doctor will be in shortly.” The “doctor” came in at 9:41am and then presented me with a gown and instructed me to disrobe and put on the gown. She then scurries out of the room and says, “I’ll be right back”. She didn’t return until 10:11am (mind you, this was a 9am appt.). When I complained and said that this was disrespecting my time, she said, “I’m sorry, if you want to go somewhere else, or get treated somewhere else, that’s fine with me”. I said, “No, I’m here now, let’s just get this over with”. She hastily “checked” a lesion on my leg, and says to her assistant, “Prepare a tray!” The assistant then mumbled, “Okay, that one needs to be cut off”. I stopped the exam and told them that nobody would be cutting anything off of me without a proper explanation. The “doctor” (who apparently, according to other reviews, is only a nurse practitioner) then tried to claim that she was GOING to explain everything but that I hadn’t given her a chance. When I voiced my displeasure with waiting for well over an hour, only to be rushed at with a mumbling, scalpel-wielding “assistant” along with ZERO explanation with what was happening, the “doctor” tried to get psychological on me. “Sir, I can tell that you’re really angry”… well, yes, how observant of you?! She then ran away and said “I’ll get the manager to talk with you”. I said, don’t bother and walked right out the door. Will never go back. You shouldn’t either. This place will blatantly disrespect your time, then attempt to patronize you if you complain. This isn’t the first time this has happened with them either, but it will most certainly be the last. BE WARNED!!! GO ELSEWHERE!! Classless.

I wish I had read the reviews before booking an appointment with this clinic. My appointment was booked for 12 pm today with Dr. Stockman. I arrived at 11:38 am. My husband had taken 1 hour off from his work to drive me here and had to extend his break 30 extra minutes because we waited for the doctor to see us. We ended up waiting till 1:36 pm and decided to leave because it was an utter disregard of our time. I am astonished at the lack of organization of the clinic and the time spent waiting to see the physician, especially after reading that other people have had a similar experience in the past.

I really must say that if I had to go through what I went through I’m very happy that I was referred to this place. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience dealing with Michigan Skin Clinic. Dr. Stockman and Dr. Nassir are very thorough and more than experienced in dealing with skin cancer (not to mention they are very attractive men) and they took their time explaining to me what was going to happen and that I would be okay. The staff is the most pleasant I’ve ever dealt with, very friendly and exceptionally considerate. I would happily give them more stars if I could! I strongly recommend this place to anyone and everyone in need of their services. They are simply that good!

My husband and I recently moved from the Macomb area to Midland and we were in need to find a new Dermatologist. I wish I would have looked at their reviews before I went for my appointment. The majority of their reviews are negative which stem around long wait times and I will be another review to add to this! I waited approximately two hours to even see the doctor. My total time at this place was approximately 2.5 hours. They’re totally disrespectful of your time and only care about the importance of their time. I didn’t even receive an apology from the doctor or the staff regarding this. Most of us don’t have time to wait hours waiting for a doctor to see us. Once I seen the Doctor he spent not even 10 minutes with me. I felt like I didn’t receive a thorough exam and he just grasped a diagnosis. Michigan Skin Clinic please read your reviews and do something about all the complaints your patients experience!

Would not recommend if you seek a real, licensed dermatologist. These un-trained physicians assistants can’t even handle sending prescription authorizations through to the pharmacy and are not qualified to determine dermatological issues. The only thing this office cares about is how many patients they can push through the door, so be prepared to wait, even if you show up on time.

Very unorganized and doesn’t value you or your time. Find somewhere else. Not only do you wait 1-2 hours in the waiting room for your scheduled appointment, but they do not communicate with each other and waited a whole month before sending in my prescriptions, even though I called every week. Don’t go here.

BEWARE, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I found out the hard way they are so Unorganized, you have them requested my file and the films and the biopsies they faxed paper copies not what U of M even requested. So from June of 2021 to today 11/14/22 U of M is starting from day one. I’ve had a body scan sept 6, result app 10/19, several appointments and still no results as of 11/14/22 which I was told when called They sent them to U of M. So my app 11/14/22 I went to my U of M app and they didn’t have the files and films they requested. So today11/14 U of M Had to do a biopsy of the same spot from 2021 and start over. Also I didn’t appreciate them talking about my case or other ones in the hallway for all to hear . And if you want any of your files good luck

My prescription is never sent to my pharmacy on time and I have started my birth control pill pack late for 6 months in a row. Definitely frustrating that it takes 7 calls back and forth to get a new pack every single month.

4.5 hours of sitting in a waiting room appointment time was 3:30 at around 6 pm which at that point a hour past closed finally came in and got me ready for my surgery then another hour sitting around waiting for someone to come back after they had givin me 9cc of lidocaine a hour prior! I do not recommend this place at all it is a joke
