This is my first manicure ever. I am or was a nail biter and my nails never looked good. I would always get full set acrylic nails. But to prepare for my wedding a few months ago I had to really buckle down and not bite my nails. I came to Michelle’s Salon and Spa to see how the experience would be for my first manicure. My technician was Val and she was amazing I had natural nails and I asked for a nice shape to get my nails going. We chose a rounded square and hopefully I can get to a point they are ling enough for a oval or almond shape. I already have my next appointment booked for 2 weeks from now.

First time here. Very nice place, everyone was extremely friendly. Everything clean and pleasant. Caitlin (sorry if spelled wrong!) was patient with my first-time lash lift and did an awesome job! She also spent more time on my brow waxing than anyone anywhere else I have gone to has. Very detail oriented and gentle. My lashes look great and I can’t wait to put some eye makeup back on, and I know they’ll look even more awesome! ❤️

If I could leave a 0 star rating I WOULD!!! I told the lady at Michelle’s salon I wanted my whole head done blonde last weekend and she only did half my head with blonde highlights. I told her numerous times I wanted my whole head done blonde and showed her a picture! Then when she was done highlighting I asked her, “ was that the whole head? “ and she said yes when it obviously was not!!! Half my hair is still dark BROWN!!!! I understand she couldn’t get it the color I wanted that same day due to my hair being so dark, but she still did NOT do my whole head and that made me VERY unhappy and upset. There’s a difference between doing someone’s whole head and then doing just half the head with highlights… which is not what I wanted at all. I will not be coming back unless something Is done about this. I paid 175$ plus tip for this hair color that was not done how I asked it to be done. I shouldn’t have even left a tip! I’m not satisfied at all with this salon and am hoping something is seriously done about this. If not, then what’s the point of being able to leave a review? I should be getting some sort of a refund for this awful experience and waste of money. I came to Michelle’s because I thought I would get what I wanted done great, but I was clearly wrong….My name is Rachel Hefner.

Back story, I had gastric bypass in 2009. In 2017, julissa had put in extensions since my hair wasn’t growing and they were beautiful. It got to cost too much so I ended taking them out. I have recently lost my mother, and my husband suggested I try to do the extensions again because I was so happy. Last week on a Tues I had ann Marie put them back in, very nice person, however the next day 2 of the extensions were already falling out. Wednesday I went back to have them put back in. The next day another (different) set of extensions came loose. I called and spoke with Jill explaining what has been happening with the extensions falling out immediately. She tried to blame it on my gastric bypass.. um no and then because I have dermatitis from using rogaine to try and get my hair to grow, I specifically asked if it was that causing the issue. I was told out of ann Marie’s mouth that it’s not because she has 2 clients that have the same issue, so it’s not that….money down the drain
