Went to Nick for a haircut. He just chopped away, needless to say my hair has no style. The place is very dirty & the atmosphere & decor looked like a roadside barber shop. He took out the flat iron, which I never use on my hair, & just assumed it was ok. Wash, cut, & blow dry all in 30 minutes. I guess that says it all. Stay away from this dirty salon.

I booked a pedicure here. They were reasonably priced at $35 and I was looking to try somewhere new. I had a haircut booked somewhere else at the end of the month but I figured I would get that done as well. The women at the counter knew I was a new client and adding on a cut. If I had any idea for the 1/2” they took off my hair and the fluffy 80s blow dry they gave me was going to cost me $75, I would’ve just done the wet cut for $45. They base price on your stylists experience. I had no idea I got someone who had over 20 years. I would’ve taken someone greener for the simple service I was asking for. I went home after the cut and washed my hair to get all the excessive product out. After this experience I’ll be sure to speak up to my stylist next time. Ask your clients “if” they want product or if they want a curling iron, please don’t assume. Totally over priced experience and will not be coming back.

Great place, great location. Receptionist was super thoughtful about who I’d book with so I’d get the exactly what I needed with an expert. Jackie absolutely helped solve my hair dye problems and made me look and feel 100 times better. Absolutely will be going back for more haircare!

Alfonzo is fantastic. He’s been cutting my hair for years and he always exceeds my expectations. He’s a pro. I highly recommend Alfonzo at Michael’s for a perfect haircut every time. He takes his time. Cuts three times to insure its perfect and I always leave there extremely pleased. And I am a tough grader! Alfonzo is the best! Haircut

First of all..Michael’s is not only a convenient location ( being in the Chester shopping center) but also a comfortable salon. It is large, and so it feels like you are not on top of each other.It is a place you can relax but have fun as well. I go to Jacqui and she is THE BEST. She understands what I want and does excellent color and cut. I’m a little older, but she makes me feel like I’m as important as someone younger …and she stays on top of current styles and color trends!
