I chose Men’s Grooming Parlor to get an Eyebrow wax. The decor was eclectic and comfortable. The owner Matt immediately showed enthusiasm in his craft as well as engaging with his client. I will check out the behind the scenes making of the Mandalorian and this has zero to do with services provided other than an example of the great conversation while I was there. I was looking for a place that specializes in men’s waxing and other services such as facials. I chose Men’s Grooming Parlor to get an Eyebrow wax. The decor was eclectic and comfortable. The owner Matt immediately showed enthusiasm in his craft as well as engaging with his client. Matt is one of a kind–a rare gem! He makes what could be an uncomfortable experience a super-pleasant one. He is highly-professional, highly-skilled and super-friendly. The space he works in was impeccably curated by him and it makes you feel so relaxed and wanting to return. I’ve been going to Matt for years and whenever I’ve considered moving away, I’ve had to consider what I would do without him. Matt is one of a kind–a rare gem! He makes what could be an uncomfortable experience a super-pleasant one. He is highly-professional, highly-skilled and super-friendly. The space he works in was impeccably curated by him and it makes you feel so relaxed and wanting to return. It’s a welcoming surrounding with LOTS to look at while you wait in the waiting room/living room. Your wait is VERY short and Matt is always quick to come out and welcome you in and see if you need anything. Your wait is VERY short and Matt is always quick to come out and welcome you in and see if you need anything. He is so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Found out they do chemical peels too. I am a new fan and will be going there for all my manscaping needs.. I lived abroad and in New York City for over 4 years and every time I would come home to Chicago, the first thing I would book (after my airplane ticket) was my appointment with at Men’s Grooming Parlor! I tried several services in NYC and no one even compared to Men’s Grooming Parlor’s amazing personal, caring, professional service and wonderful relaxing space, that only keeps getting better! I’ve seen Matt for over 13 years and he only gets better in his service level, professionalism, cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere in his studio! I lived abroad and in New York City for over 4 years and every time I would come home to Chicago, the first thing I would book (after my airplane ticket) was my appointment with at Men’s Grooming Parlor!
