Excellent service all around! Jason was my barber and he asked me thorough questions before and during my haircut. Really great conversation throughout the experience and I was 100% satisfied upon walking out. $17 for a fade and trim is hugely economical and a great deal. One of Downtown Dunedin’s best kept secrets that shouldn’t be. Very personable service from all the guys where you feel right at home every time. They all make it a point to get to know you and you’ll have some of the best conversations around just by popping in. Very likable, affordable & professional all while getting the nostalgic feel of an old-school barbershop. Highly recommended for both locals and for those visiting as it’s right there on Main Street.

I walked in expecting some good old Dunedin charm and to be frank it was the most non welcome I have ever felt, when I arrived Out of the four men that were there no one said hello as I walked . If someone enters a business in hopes to spend hard earned money the least 4 non busy employees can do is say hello, after I took a seat they all stared at me for a minute before one of them finally asked what I needed. I politely said I would like my head shaved to a 1 , the gentlemen responds “just a 1 all over” I reply yes he says he can do it, I then stand up and begin to walk over and he says “I’m sorry we can’t cut women’s hair” I wasn’t getting anything special just having my head shaved. It would not have been so alarming if it was stated when I walked in or there was any visible signage but none of that was done and to make it even more alarming my head is already shaved it just grew back an inch so it was me in an empty shop. The only conclusion is they were most likely racist because the cut obviously took no skill and would not have been different than anything they were used to I mean being they were in fact a barbershop but it’s completely fine I’m still having a great day. I got my head shaved a few doors down at a salon and they were more than happy to help! It’s just sad because this may have affected someone else honestly but if you are looking for friendly kind service I highly recommend the salon. The men in this shop were rude unfriendly and abrasive.
