Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityIf I can give it a 0 star I would. I agreed to pay for a facial (even though I didn’t need/want one) in order to book an eyebrow appointment. After waiting 5 months for the appointment, scheduling the day off from work, arranging childcare, and chasing them down for a week to confirm the appointment, I finally get a call less than 24 hrs before saying that she’s not able to make it due to “medical reasons.” At the same time, she’s posting live videos on IG vacationing in DR and living her best life. I was in shock at the lack of consideration and blatant disrespect that she was showing by completely ignoring long-awaited appointments. As a small business owner myself, this is NOT how you treat customers.But wait, there’s more. One week later I get a call saying that my eyebrow appointment has been rescheduled but that I needed to get yet another facial prior to it. After turning down the facial, I was then told that I would need a skin evaluation which cost $100. I have done my eyebrows with her 3 times in the past prior to the opening of the spa and a facial was never a requirement or necessary. So why now? Why wasn’t I told this sooner and before they cancelled on me?It’s really sad because I was a big fan of hers for many years and I love seeing other women succeed.At the end of the day, they cancelled at the last minute, lied about being sick and then tried to sucker me into paying for an additional service that I did not need nor want. If I can give it a 0 star I would. I agreed to pay for a facial (even though I didn’t need/want one) in order to book an eyebrow appointment. Critical: ProfessionalismNot only did she make me wait almost a year for an apt. But when it was time for my apt. She tells me that I had to get more facials to improve my skin. I had already done few facials there but I believe this is just her way to try to bring more money to the spa. I took her suggestion and did additional facials. Later they said they will fit me in anytime after my facials and every-time I called they kept pushing out my apt. Until now that they said she’s pregnant and can’t do my brows until after. It took them 3 days of me requesting my deposit back and me calling to complain to get my money back. I do eyebrows myself and I would never have such poor professionalism! On top of that the reason ombré powder is so good because it’s good for all skin type. Of course the nicer your skin the better your results but to turn down clients because your face isn’t perfect I find ridiculous. Mind you, I don’t have any acne on my face. Yes I can improve my pores but that about it. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThis is a beautiful and cozy spa. The communication is good and they speak to you with that exact point what they’re doing to you. Today I got a Deep Facial with Yokaira and it was amazing! She was explaining everything to me step by step! The peace that I felt in that room was like if I were in heaven! The energy that people around has is another level !! Very good one. I will absolutely go back to pamper myself more with them!This is a beautiful and cozy spa.
