My shoulders were so tight I had difficulty raising my arms above shoulder height. Without a word from me, Yvonne almost instinctively knew where to focus. Thanks to her caring attention to my upper back and shoulders my arms now have complete range of motion. Yvonne’s space is immaculate and serene. Her manner is both warm and professional. My massage with Yvonne was excellent. Before we started she delved into my goals and asked great questions about what I hoped to accomplish so she could tailor the experience. The massage itself was extremely well executed – a great balance of relaxation, deep tissue working on my tight spots and some amazingly effective stretching techniques that really loosened me up. Her parting gift was some great advice and practical tips I could incorporate to improve my posture and decrease the stress on my neck and shoulders. Yvonne is not only a great massage therapist, she is truly a healer. As as dancer, I look for massage therapists who not only offer relaxation, but also provide therapeutic work and have extensive knowledge of how to improve mobility for athletes. I have tried many massage therapists and Yvonne is by far the most competent and effective masseuse I have had a massage with. 10/10 Best massage I’ve ever had!! Left feeling so relieved and relaxed. Yvonne is very communicative and started off the session by discussing my goals for the massage and continued to check in with me through our session. She is great at customizing the massage to what your body needs in that moment. The room itself has an extremely clean and relaxing atmosphere with soft lights and air conditioning. She also explained to me why I was having pain in certain places and shared some stretches and posture tips that will help reduce pain! Yvonne is a godsend! Without a doubt the best bodywork I’ve ever received. I explained where my problem areas were and we immediately got to working on those areas and I was even recommended a few stretches to do at home to keep the progress going.
