Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI normally do not write reviews, however, I felt we all could learn a lesson in what happened. I went in for palm rolls, but Mala explained that my hair needs to be more course, so I changed my style to butterfly locs. I showed Mala a picture of what I wanted and she agreed she could replicate it, but my hair looks nothing like the picture. I told Mala I did not like my hair and Mala and the rest of the ladies who own the shop acted as if they were offended. I paid 250 dollars, including the hair and I will be taking these out today. To the shop owners: if someone expresses they don’t like their hair please believe them, they are spending their money and their opinion is the only one that matters, this taking peoples money and we not getting what we paid for has to stop! This happens too many times and I know customers are afraid to say something due to the negative reaction that we are given. You should never let an unsatisfied customer leave your shop. Mala was too distracted with everything else, that she rushed on my hair. I work for a big corporation and could have given her even more business and I already referred my daughter to her so I brought her in $400 dollars yesterday and she treated me like I was coming in for a $20 dollar hairstyle. My daughter and I will never ever walk into her establishment again but I hope this helps new customers to not be afraid to speak up when you do not like a service you were given.I normally do not write reviews, however, I felt we all could learn a lesson in what happened.
