1st time my lil boy man went to the Main Street & we were told appointment only even there were barbers there but no customers. So made the appt with Paul. My son wanted a mullet however he was in tears as we got into the car. Paul asked him if he liked the cut. Nd he said yes cuz he didnt want to hurt his feelings. But wasnt a mullet at all.

This place is a true barber shop. They always have two barbers and the wait isn’t usually too long. The barbers are all kind, professional, and personable. They also use hot shaving cream and a straight razor on your neck. The barbers always remember you and will keep up a conversation if you are a talker. They sell soda pop while you wait. Parking can be difficult but I’ve never had to park off of the block.

I started going here when they opened back in 2003. In 2018 I had the opportunity to start working here as a barber and from the day I started, it’s felt like home/family. Even if I didn’t work here I would still strongly suggest everyone going there. We are are a 4 man shop and it’s a great atmosphere to be in.

Used to be my favorite place for a cut. I always tip almost 50% and have been doing so for 5 or 6 years. Yet, every time I go, it’s like all brand new news. Never remember my type of haircut which hasn’t changed in all those years. They always have 2-3 chairs empty because the barbers aren’t there. The hours kind of make it difficult to get in during regular hours and last time I went there, they weren’t even there during the regular posted hours. Really wanted this to be my barber until I was old and gray, but on the search for that forever barbershop.

I’ve had great haircuts from here over the years, and thoroughly enjoyed each of the barbers individually. However, more recently the business has turned to publicly posting politicized articles on social media, and demanding anyone with differing views to find a different barbershop. Regardless of opinions on any topic, its hard to be open to a business that by nature is close minded to an entire customer base.
