Love, love, love Ly Nails! It was recommended to me by a friend at work because I couldn’t find anywhere else I liked, and now I’ll never go anywhere else. Tina is the sweetest, and always does such a good job on my nails. The rest of the staff has also always been kind and welcoming, and Tina even offered an extra padded chair from an empty nail station for me to sit in when all the other waiting area chairs were being used on a busy day. Their gel color selection is great (it takes up half of one of the store walls!) and the nail stations/equipment are kept clean. This past visit Tina painted onto one of my cuticles by accident, said “ah that is going to bother me” and didn’t stop trying to fix it until it was fixed, constantly checking on me to make sure the file she was using wasn’t hurting my finger or cuticle- you can’t even see where she originally went off the nail! I got my last set removed and a whole new set done for $60, which definitely isn’t bad compared to most places. I’ve never been unhappy with my nails when I got them done at Ly Nails, so they’re not getting rid of my business anytime soon.

DO NOT GO THERE !!!!! The lady said 55$ at first . Then when I went to the chair to get them painted , she charged me 65$ after I done put 55$ on the table . She tried to add a extra 10$. Even before I got my nails painted , she said “pay now”, & I kinda question it because she didn’t even paint them yet & everyone else paid after they got there nails down so what was the difference ? Some how they charged my friend 37$ for just her nails & there is really no difference besides she got sparkles on two nails .

*DO NOT GO HERE* This is easily the worst place I have been to in Louisville. My little sister asked for white gel nails which is very simple. They did they worst job and charged $64…when we asked them to fix it, they did not (and no refund either!). Instead they YELLED at my sister, humiliated her in front of customers, and had other customers look at her nails while she was in tears. Further, they do not use new gloves per customer or wash / clean their gloves for reuse. The gloves had sticky substance and used on multiple customers (hands/feet) – just dirty. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere BUT here! You will get a quality job done right, at half the price, and without the terrible customer service.

The owner is rude and they do not do quality work anymore This is the second time they done poor quality work where I had to go home and redo my heels were terrible. Worst Nail Salon I’ve EVER been to!! The lady who runs it is BEYOND RUDE..I asked to use the restroom before we got started on my “fill-in” and she rolled her eyes and pointed to the back of the Salon..I went into the restroom and was in there less than a minute when she started pounding on the door, demanding I tell her whether I was going to be “5 minute” or 10 minute” I was appalled..I told her I was almost done and she still kept yelling..I just ignored her..finished and told her I would be taking my business elsewhere from now on, and I couldn’t believe how rude and unprofessional she was!

They use to be good now their getting lazy. My shellac has been peeling off the next day after getting them done during my last two sets on my toes. I only like Tina to do my nails & the man to do my toes. I don’t think I’ll be returning, I’ve been coming here for over a year and just have been disappointed these last couple of times.
