I’m writing this review with mixed feelings. I’ve been going to this place of business for about a month now. I’ve been working with Dawn for all of my waxing and facials. She has been AMAZING!!! Very knowledgeable, and friendly. She explained everything through each stage and eased me back into the waxing game as I’ve been out of it for a long time. It’s great to work with someone in this setting and it isn’t awkward. Why am I only giving 3 stars if Dawn is so great, you ask? My low rating is because of the receptionist Dani. I feel like her professionalism is subpar at best. After my first visit, Dawn met me up front and brought a few scrubs for me to smell. She recommended the one she uses (coffee), and went to the back to grab more options. While she was gone, Dani said to me in a low voice “You should choose the lavender one because it’s what everyone chooses and no body ever picks the one she likes…you probably won’t like it either.” I was so shocked that she would try to go behind her coworkers back and try to deter my choice. Especially since Dawn never tried to force her opinion on me, and gave me quite a few options. I made my selection (coffee) and left. During my 3rd visit, I received a facial. After the service, Dawn brought the products up front that she’d mentioned. She went to the back to grab another item and once again here comes Dani. She said “You know you don’t really have to buy that, a lot of people don’t.” I’m thinking to myself, why is this girl being so shady and negative? Aren’t you supposed to help and support your coworkers? Why does she keep trying to block Dawn’s sales? There are a few other things that have rubbed me the wrong way regarding comments Dani has made, but I don’t want to write a novel. Her behavior is making me very uncomfortable and I’m thinking about finding another business to go to just to avoid her. It’s unfortunate because Dawn is really good at what she does. ***To the owner, Dani is going to make you lose good customers, and possibly lose hard working people like Dawn if they knew what she was up to. Dani’s behavior is unacceptable.***

Veronica at Luscious Wax has been amazing and I’ve never missed an appointment with her after discovering this location about 6 months ago. Unfortunately today, I was told by Daniella that in order to continue to do business with this location, I would have to leave my credit card information on file indefinitely. Daniella indicated that this policy just started this month and if I did not leave my CC info on file, then my appointment would be canceled, and I would be treated as a walk-in. I was absolutely taken aback especially when I considered the regularity at which consumer info is compromised in todays society. Even more so when I thought about how I have never missed an appointment here and always left a generous tip. In a word, I’m one of the good customers and this nonsense policy has sent me elsewhere to do business. My advice, maybe speak with a Business Consultant before implementing a policy that could adversely affect your business. Will miss Veronica’a great service, sad face.

I just moved here from Michigan and had been getting my eye brows waxed at the same place, and the exact same way for many years. The first place I went to after moving here tore my eye brows UP! I had to let them grow in a little in hopes that the next place I went to would be able to restore them to how I’ve had them for years. I was so scared to test out somewhere else, but I’m so glad I came across Lucious Brazilian Wax in Google. I called and the receptionist was super nice! She was able to get me in within 15 minutes of my call. Upon arriving she was just as nice as she was on the phone, and they got me in at 5:15 as promised, maybe even a little earlier! It was super clean and nicely decorated. My esthetician, Veronica, at the Douglasville location was AMAZING! She got me together in what felt like only a few minutes. She was very attentive, understanding, and great at what she does. If you need to be waxed, this should be your place! I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you Veronica and the wonderful Luscious staff! You earned another regular client!
