I’ve been working with Hannah for a year and the people here are genuinely talented and also good hearted, kind people. I get sew -in extensions and highlights and it is pricey, but the confidence boost is really worth it. I feel so great about myself every time I leave the salon! Also, they have the BEST snacks and drinks always super stocked up, the ladies go a bit above and dress very fashionable and it’s really fun seeing their outfits every time I come in. The salon is nicely decorated and super clean. It’s always a pleasant experience, and I feel very welcome. I believe they are the best in the area for extensions, I’ve seen so many bad ones from other salons have to come in and get corrections from Lumen. They are very skilled and that’s why it ain’t cheap! (But also not overpriced). I could go on all day, I’d be completely lost without these ladies helping me live my best hair life.

I’ve had the privilege of getting my hair done by Shana Dee for the past few years and she is truly an artist. I have never left her salon even remotely close to unhappy. My hair looks Incredible for months and feels so healthy. Her new salon, Lumen, is equally as incredible as she is. If I could leave no stars I would. I made an appointment with Lumen salon for a cut and color to which I paid $100 to book my appointment (time is money, no problem with that) I then showed up for my appointment Tuesday instead of my scheduled appointment time on Wednesday. Totally my fault. I communicated to them at 9am which is 24 hrs in advance while I was in the salon that I may not be able to make my appointment for the next day because I didn’t think my babysitter could work. To which they told me to let them know. I tried to find someone to watch my kids to no avail. I texted them later in the day (because you can’t call the salon) to let them know that I would be unable to attend my appointment and I would have to cancel. In my head, I’m thinking I will lose the $100 booking fee for the mixup, But no, they replied that I would be invoiced the TOTAL amount for my service, this is without anyone in the salon looking at my hair. They invoiced me $450 and I lost the $100 booking fee. I would not recommend this salon, their business practices are insane!
