I’ve been coming to Love Hair Salon since I was about 16-17 and Tia and her staff has always been amazing! Since I’m about to move out of state, I had to come one last time to get my hair colored by Maria, and I’m still so in awe of the wonderful work she did! I have dark, very thick, curly hair and Maria went above and beyond to give me the color I wanted! She is so attentive to detail and making sure that her clients get the best service ever. Thank you Maria for making my last trip to Love Hair Salon a memorable one!

Maria did an absolutely BEAUTIFUL job on my hair! I called this am because I was in need of a last minute color before my graduation and thankfully they had availability. The entire staff at the salon are incredibly personable and so kind. When Maria brought me back, she assessed the current state my hair was in (previously box dyed five months prior) and listened as i explained that I wanted to go lighter. She was transparent about the process and made suggestions while keeping the health of my hair in mind. She took her time while putting the highlights in which I really appreciated. In addition, she was such a warm and friendly person to talk to and did everything in her power to ensure that I was comfortable. Her assistant was amazing too! Thank you so much Maria for my hair! I am so excited to have it ready for graduation this weekend.

I had bleached, dyed n did all of these crazy things to my hair. I had like 3 or 4 different colors in there…messy. I love love love my end result. The best salon and staff ever. Everyone one is family when you walk in the door. I am so satisfied with this salon that like many others, I make the 2 hour drive to get the services Tia and her team offer. Thank you Tia, & Antoine for the Birthday crown. My daughter recently had the Japanese hair straightening, which is an all-day affair, done by Maria. Maria did an absolutely superb job. I had the Cezanne treatment done, also with Maria, for the purpose of making my hair less frizzy and bulky yet maintaining the curl. Another success story! I agree with all the other reviewers that this is more than just a visit to any salon. The owner and support staff are such lovely people and really strive to make everyone feel welcome and walk out of the place feeling beautiful!

I went to get lash extensions for the first time. The staff are very kind and friendly. Environment was clean, calm, and relaxing. My lashes came out good I love them, but I am missing some in the corner of my left eye I noticed when I got to my car so I’m going to call tomorrow and see if it can be added. Overall 10/10 would recommend. Look forward to future experiences.

Recently moved upstate and was excited to try this salon as it came highly recommended in a local community facebook group. The blowout was great and I was in and out in less than an hour, exactly what I was looking for. The only issue I have is that their pricing is not equitable. Their website lists one price, but my actual cost was $15 more. The explanation was that I have longer hair – it’s shoulder length – and that cost is for “easier” hair. My hair is about a 2c/3a/b texture. I really can’t believe a salon with a Black woman owner that caters to mostly women of color is really using this type of pricing system and terms like “easier hair”. The whole vibe from the owner was really giving good and bad hair. The thing is $50 for a blow out is a great price and I would have been excited to pay this for the quality of the service. My only issue is that there should be one, equitable price for everyone instead this salon left me with a bad taste in my mouth that I’m charged one price while a woman with “easier” hair and let’s be honest, we all know exactly what that means, is charged less, I can’t even image what the up charge would be for a woman with 4c hair. There were also little things like they say free cocktails on Saturdays, I was never even offered water. I wasn’t greeted until after a few minutes of me standing at the front. Basically five star blowout, but a two star experience, at best. I’ll just stick to driving down to Dry Bar.
