She will listen to you and your hair desires and work to find a cut, style and maintenance that is appropriate for you both now and in 3-6 months. Her haircuts grow out beautifully because she truly understands the mechanics of hair growth and texture, not to mention this also contributes to a bangin’ blowout. Kate is my needle in a haystack! For the last 10 years I’ve been looking for a stylist who has natural instinct, amazing talent in both color and style and cut, and is forward thinking. She will listen to you and your hair desires and work to find a cut, style and maintenance that is appropriate for you both now and in 3-6 months. Her haircuts grow out beautifully because she truly understands the mechanics of hair growth and texture, not to mention this also contributes to a bangin’ blowout. This is the first salon I’ve felt like I could build a relationship with because they truly understand my hair and are completely honest and nonjudgemental with me and my impulsive hair decisions. Kate makes sure that the integrity of my hair is prioritized rather than doing random/extreme methods to achieve results like previous stylists that ended up staining/damaging my hair. The haircuts I’ve gotten are also some of the best I’ve had in my life tbh, usually stylists can’t manage how thick it is. I’ve been going here for over a year now seeing Kate who was recommended to me by a previous stylist. This is the first salon I’ve felt like I could build a relationship with because they truly understand my hair and are completely honest and nonjudgemental with me and my impulsive hair decisions. The salon truly is a safe space – and for those with hair loss, that means everything! Ronnie is amazing at what she does – my extensions, styling, and hair cuts are always on point and it’s so nice to be able to sit in the chair and chat for 2 hours about life, family, etc. with someone so lovely and personable. She is the best! I have also had Kate do my hair when Ronnie was out due to illness, and she was amazing as well, so it’s very reassuring to know that if any scheduling issues ever pop up, there is always a backup that I can trust to do a top notch job. From the time I first walked into the salon for a consultation 6 months ago, to my most recent appointment yesterday, I have always felt extremely comfortable, welcome, and at ease during my appointments. The salon truly is a safe space – and for those with hair loss, that means everything! Ronnie is amazing at what she does – my extensions, styling, and hair cuts are always on point and it’s so nice to be able to sit in the chair and chat for 2 hours about life, family, etc. with someone so lovely and personable. I had spent years trying to find a way to hide my rapidly thinning hair and hair loss, which started around the age of 27. By the time I got 30 and was coming up on my best friend’s wedding, I had gone through several stylists and salons, multiple hair styles, hair coloring, and enough products and devices to supply a beauty pagent. I had had enough, and was dreading my hair issues being memorialized in pictures. Cassie changed all that. She took time out of her maternity leave to meet me in the shop for a 1:1 to talk me through all the options, and recommended a hair peace. I was really unsure, given the way I had seen them stigmatized, but Cassie was super understanding and did not pressure me AT ALL. It felt like talking to a girlfriend who happened to be an expert in hair. I ultimately took the plunge and have been so happy ever since. Since then, I’ve had services by everyone in the shop, and have been consistently happy. The ladies do GREAT work and use excellent quality products–people are always shocked when I tell them I wear a hairpiece. The shop is young, vibrant, welcoming, and fun while still professional. By the time I got 30 and was coming up on my best friend’s wedding, I had gone through several stylists and salons, multiple hair styles, hair coloring, and enough products and devices to supply a beauty pagent. I’ve gotten a wide variety of styles done – Long extensions, bonded, crazy fashion colors, basic colors, chopped all my hair into a pixie, got more extensions, etc. – and love it every single time. They’re very professional, and make me feel comfortable and at ease with my trouble spots. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without this salon. I see Kate now and she rocks. All of the stylists and receptionists (Cass, Ronny, Kat, Kate, Olivia, and Jess) are welcoming, professional, and extremely dedicated to their clients. I came in for extensions and received unparalleled service – it is the first and only salon I genuinely look forward to going to my appointment!
