I was very disappointed with my service at Lotus. The gentleman that was doing my nails was watching soccer and texting his girlfriend back and forth on his phone while doing my nails. He was rushing every nail he painted then glancing down at his hidden phone ever 10 seconds not paying attention to my nails at all.

Wasn’t my 1st choice to begin with. We were pressed for time because we had a baby with us. The atmosphere was nice, but the man who did my nails was rushed and seemingly inexperienced… Not to mention on his phone texting ever 5 seconds. I got my nails filled and I wanted French color with square tips. The tips weren’t squared and pretty much my entire set that I paid $40 look bad. I won’t be returning.

I made an appointment but had to wait but not too long. The manicure and pedicure were good and staff friendly. The place looked like it could use some paint and cleaning but overall it was good experience and reasonable prices.

WORST EXPERIENCE AND QUALITY OF WORK I’VE EXPERIENCED AT A NAIL SALON. This guy that did my nails was texting at least 30 plus times while doing my nails. In all is 40 years of having my nails done has anyone ever even picked up their phone in the middle of doing my nails. I was thinking that at least my nails look nice ……. NO here I am a week later and my gel manicure is literally falling off my nails. The whole piece of gel fell off 8 nails. This guy is so unprofessional!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS PLACE!! I just hope I don’t end up with nail fungus. I should have stopped him from using unclean files and such. I am just disgusted by this whole experience. I wasn’t going to write a review until this gel just fell off my nails. I can’t believe this guy has a job there. All I can guess is that he’s family.

Got the Deluxe pedicure. It was the best pedicure I’ve had! They did a true massage on my feet and I left feeling so relaxed I wanted to go home and take a nap! 5 stars!

Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismWas looking forward to getting a pedicure here after reading the positive reviews…However, I would not call this place clean or the staff knowledgeable. I got the Deluxe Pedicure and it was pretty standard, but not bad. Couple things I had an issue with: the heel cheese grader didnt feel sharp, was slightly painful (more than the usual uncomfortablness) and my heels were not left baby butt soft like other places. Before she started my heels, she grabbed a piece of newspaper and put it on the foot rest. Then she put that piece of newspaper on the floor and then BACK ontop of the foot rest. That seems pretty gross to me.I wanted a shiny, iridescent polish on my nails and they recommended the powder that is used with gel polish. Unfortunately, the final product looks white and I would have not chosen to pay extra for plain white gel polish. I have had this exact look done before at a different salon and it was no problem; therefore, I think it was a lack of knowledge.If this was the only salon in town, I would go back. With dozen if other options though, I doubt I will even though its the closest.UPDATE: It has been a week and my gel pedicure has chipped on both big toes.Was looking forward to getting a pedicure here after reading the positive reviews… …More

I have been here a total of 2 times and that’s all the chances I’m giving this place. The first time I got my nails done here I got a gel manicure and one of the signature pedicures ($45 pedicure). My pedicure was fine but my gel manicure only lasted a week (usually lasts 2 weeks at least). This place is conveniently in my neighborhood and next to the Publix I always shop, so I gave it another try. This time I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for a different employee. I just go engaged so I wanted to show my ring off and have nice nails. This manicure only last about 5 days before the paint started coming up and peeling off! I went back there the next day and politely showed them the condition of my nails and told them the time frame. I told the Lady that I think they did not soak my cuticles long enough and it was making the polish come up. She said the paint was free but if I wanted another manicure it would be $15, (gel manicure is $25) I didn’t want to argue I just wanted my nails redone so I just ate the cost but I will never be back here again. Let’s hope this manicure lasts me 2 weeks.
