I want to say everytime I go get my hair braided I never leave unhappy. I’m from Brooklyn so finding the right stylist out here was important. No only does my hair grow ; they actually care about your hair. They wouldn’t do your hair if they feel it will break it or cause further damage. So that goes to show it’s not about the money. I greatly appreciate the energy and time management. Fire a** braids in a timely manner. On top of good energy throughout the salon. Love it !

Hands down the best hair braiding salon on Staten Island! This was my second visit in the salon. They’re incredibly courteous, kind and when I asked my hair stylist Toyin, to not braid so tight because I’m very tender headed she not only listened but through out my time with her she would check on me by asking if it was too tight, I really appreciated that. <3 I have never had someone actually listen to me and respect my wishes while braiding my hair so happy Toyin was respectful and sweet!!! Not only that but Toyin did a wonderful job with my hair, and she is a delight to talk too! Toyin was able to hide my natural hair color roots while braiding my box braids!! Lisa African Hair braiding is a definitely worth checking out, they have fair and honest prices and they’re quick I was out of the salon within 2 hours. Will definitely continue to come here as well as recommend my friends and family!! Best of luck hope my review helps you narrow out your choices!!! :)
