Went for senagalese twist and tried to charge me $180 but we managed to get it down to $160. The twists started to loosen only 2 days after and one came completely out. By the end of the week the twists were starting to frizz up no matter how tight I tied it down. She was speaking highly of her work as if the braids were going to last me at least two months and it didn’t even last me a month. By the end of 3 weeks the twists needed to come out. Didn’t have long enough hair for the length I wanted so she added hair at the ends and they were not completely secured. Moved too fast/rushing it when I was the only customer in the shop. Twists were unevenly cut at the ends were not even throughout my entire head. Friendly but not great service, also very rough. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Worst shop I’ve ever been to especially to charge that much. Waste of money and will NOT be going back.

I’m from the city so even in NY they only charge me 100 for the price. And her attitude is the worst. On top of my that, one braid came out the next day. SHE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO HAIR. I do not recommend this lady.

I’m glad I disregarded the reviews & I took a chance on going here. I’m usually the difficult client but I told Linda what I wanted done and she told me to trust that she knew what she was doing and I did. I must say I’m impressed my weave looks professionally done, my hair doesnt feel tight & pulled at not to mention I was in & out of there in an hour. Thank you Linda you did a fabulous job & it was a pleasant experience for me. See you soon

I have been going to this chick for 4 years and every time I go and get the same style for my daughter or myself, her prices are different. She is up to charging me and my daughter both $180 a piece for box braids. Out first price was $120. Stay away from this woman. SHE WILL RIP YOU OFF

I will never go to her again. She charged me $160 to do my daughter’s box braids and within 2 weeks 7 box braids fell out. I went to her about it just to fix it. She said it isn’t fixable that the whole hair needs to be done all over again and she was gonna charge me all over again for it. That’s b.s. She needs to be shut down ASAP. She is nothing, but a money hungry scammer.

I stopped going to her about 3 or 4 years ago because in the middle of our braiding session. She left to go home to speak with her daughter and left me in the shop with one of her friends whom she told to “watch me” I was 13 at the time. I called my dad to come and sit with me after the friend left. When the braider (Linda) came back after over an hour she seemed offended that I would call my parents. My dad gave her $20 less and she cursed him out. My mom came in to talk with her and Linda reached behind her to grab for something, in the end it was a phone but my mom said it looked like a knife. She continuously disrespected me and my family but after that incident I never went there again. The prices are high and the lady has no respect for paying customers. She needs to change or close.
