My 6 yr old son came home crying :'( after his second haircut at Lil Cottage. The owner/hairstylist (assuming they are the same person) was extremely rough with him and when both my son and his father mentioned it to her she didn’t ease up. The $35 haircut was alright but the cost of making my son so upset that I spent the evening reassuring he did not have to return to that place, NOT worth it and most definitely NOT okay. My husband said she seemed to be extremely rushed, stressed and not kid friendly. Which he thought was awkward considering the last time he took him she was a bit rough but nothing like today.

This is the best place. The owner is awesome. I took my son here to get his first haircut and mannnn he threw the BIGGEST fit and she cut his hair with no problem. My son was crying and moving around like crazy and she did it with no struggle and very efficiently. I was so impressed and the hair cut was soo cute. She’s seriously talented. I’d pay whatever price just because she was that good with my son!!!

She wasn’t there, I had to wait outside 10 minutes for her to show up with an 11 month old baby. I asked her to keep it long, just clean it up. She chopped off a ton… My baby’s birthday is in 2 weeks and her hair looks awful. And it was $35… I will never come back here…

Today was the first time we had tried Lil snips cottage. I appreciate the fact that she could get us in on such short notice, but we had a terrible experience. My son is 8 years old and has never had an issue getting his hair cut. The lady he saw today was so rough with him. When we got into the car, my son burst into tears and complained that his neck hurt. When we got home, I looked at his neck and he was bleeding with razor burns on several parts of his neck. I will NEVER return there again. There is something wrong with this place! Trust the terrible reviews!

Very professional and fast! Cute environment for the kiddo, had a handsome new ‘do! $30+tip for a kids cut, wore a mask when asked and was quick – if anything I feel prices are high (in general for cuts anywhere) but it was stress free and the environment helped which is what you pay for!

Once inside, I actually had to ask her to wear a mask. The owner rushed us from the first moment – including while i was trying to describe the haircut I wanted.At times I was a nervous wreck thinking she would poke my son in the eye with her scissors for how fast she was going with no regard for his discomfort.
