I really wanted to give Lavish a good review because everyone seemed to be, for the most part pretty polite. However, the services were a bit weird and unusual. Firstly, they did not honor the price they told me at the time of the booking. I told the receptionist who had guaranteed on a price and since that person was not there on the day of our treatment, she did not honor it. We were charged $30 more for each person.

This place is being ridiculous. I booked my appointment on March 3rd 3 pm. I planned everything for this week. And they just canceled my appointment on the appointment day!?!?!? They just think we have nothing to do to wait for this massage! The reason they said is the therapist is not working today, then why you book this appointment for me??? This is not the end. They have no sorry for me. They rescheduled my appointment for March 4 3 pm without my agreement. I am not happy with what happened, and they just canceled my appointment and will no longer be able to take me. I was shocked . A serving place just canceled and do whatever they want, and this really made me mad. Besides, when you book the appointment, they’ll ask your credit card information (everything) to confirm your appointment. I’ll update they still charge me after all this. Anyway, terrible terrible experience without even really experienced there.

I have the combo facial and swedish massage. The facial was supposed to be 45 minutes and the esthetician only use 30 minutes of that time, so I felt a little short-changed with the facial.

Their appointment system is horrible. They’ll cancel your appointment and give it to someone else. I am new so I was not familiar with their system. They didnt seem to care though, they cancelled my appt ruthlessly and gave it to another person.

I visited Lavish Day Spa and it was a beautiful and clean spa. The staff were friendly however I received the worst Brazilian wax service ever. The lady who did the waxing seemed as if she did not have much experience and it took her over an hour to finish and it still wasn’t thoroughly done. She was messy and used inappropriate utensils. I try to support Black owned businesses but I was totally disappointed with the service and I will never go back.
