Deep-Tissue Massage
60 minutes Deep-Tissue Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment.Techniques that utilize deep-tissue/deep-muscle massage are administered to affect the sub-layer of musculature and fascia. These techniques require advanced training and a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology. The muscles must be relaxed in order to effectively perform deep-tissue massage; otherwise, tight surface muscles prevent the practitioner from reaching deeper musculature. It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation, and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendinitis.		$90.00
Insurance-Billed
Insurance-Billed is per unit. A unit averages between 8-15 minutes. A session is typically several units, depending on what doctor has prescribed. Insurance accepted, though not all insurances cover massage. Check with your insurance provider to see if massage is covered by your policy.		$45.00

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
60 minutes Lymphatic Drainage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment.Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a type of massage based on the hypothesis that it will encourage the natural drainage of the lymph which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. The lymph system depends on intrinsic contractions of the smooth muscle cells in the walls of lymph vessels (peristalsis) and the movement of skeletal muscles to propel lymph through the vessels to lymph nodes and then to the lymph ducts which return lymph to the cardiovascular system. Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure (less than 9 ounces per square inch or about 4 kPa) and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow.		$80.00

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Medical Massage is prescribed and intended to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed and prescribed by a Physician. The Medical Massage Practitioner can use a variety of modalities or techniques such as Neuromuscular therapy, Myofascial release, Lymphatic drainage, Muscle testing, Trigger point therapy etc. but will focus the Medical Massage session on the areas of the body related to the diagnosis.		$160.00
Medical Massage Session – 30 minutes
30 minute medical massage sessions are focused on one specific area, such a shoulder, a knee, or lower back. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. Medical Massage is prescribed and intended to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed and prescribed by a Physician. The Medical Massage Practitioner can use a variety of modalities or techniques such as Neuromuscular therapy, Myofascial release, Lymphatic drainage, Muscle testing, Trigger point therapy etc. but will focus the Medical Massage session on the areas of the body related to the diagnosis.		$40.00

Oncology Massage
60 minutes Oncology Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. An Oncology Massage is a patient-specific, customized massage session designed to meet the unique and changing needs of someone in treatment for cancer or with a history of cancer treatment. A safe massage plan generally revolves around the side effects (both short- and long-term) of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.		$90.00
Prenatal Massage
60 minutes Prenatal Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment.Prenatal Massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.		$80.00
Sports Massage
60 minutes Sports Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment.Sports Massage is a targeted form of massage for athletes, typically given before, during and after events. It helps to relieve swelling, reduce tension, improve flexibility, prevent injuries, and reduce fatigue with the goal to improve the athlete’s performance.		$90.00
Thai Massage
60 minutes Thai Massage session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment.Thai Massage was added to Unesco’s Intangible Culture Heritage of Humanity list in 2019. This ancient healing method practised by Buddhist monks at the temple, uses a blend of stretching, yoga and acupressure techniques to relax the body. After much research, I chose Melissa because she specializes in lymphatic drainage and is super knowledgeable about this subset.
