my friend and i decided to stop and get our nails done since we were in the area and wow at first i was quite excited as it seemed promising when entering into the store. it was packed with a lot of customers. however we were quickly greeted by a staff and it felt really rushed as if she wanted us in and out of the store. the longer we were there – the more concern we were.

Paint was put on with bubbles, streaks, and uneven. Chipping and peeling after 2 days. Nails are trimmed uneven and weird shapes. Pedicure was a short and bad massage, she wasn’t even paying attention. They were fast, but not in a good way. I tried to tell them but they couldn’t understand me. 2 stars because they were well-staffed and friendly.

Slowly I loss interest in my nail lady but continued to go out of loyalty and I kept saying maybe next time she will do a better job. I tried a few other places like in San Bruno and Hayward and all have been sooo disappointing. But finally I found this gem! Alicia was so kind and patient with me and did exactly what I asked for and took such good care of my over nail health as well. She didn’t rush either! She took her time and treated me as though I was the only one there. I also got a pedicure by Amy , they were obviously busy and these women work so hard. But regardless of how busy they were, Amy did an amazing job! They both were just really comfortable to be around and we were even able to laugh a bunch! Slowly I loss interest in my nail lady but continued to go out of loyalty and I kept saying maybe next time she will do a better job. By far the best nail spa in the area. Friendly, clean, I have never waited more than 5-10 minutes when I walk in. The dip powder lasts 2-3 weeks. I go out of my way to come here regularly for my nails. Excellent service. Always happy with the result.

Loved this place! I picked it based on the pictures in their reviews and they did not disappoint. Pink did my nails- I showed her my inspo pic, chose the colors, and she kept the dip with gel design thin and shaped them perfectly. Thank you!

I went to the salon last week. The lady who did my nails was really nice to me but she didn’t speak English so did not ask me what I wanted how I wanted. I told her to go for French manicure. Did not do the base coat for one hand I was trying to tell her that I wanted to get a base coat but couldn’t understand. I wanted pink color as a base but again she could not understand. As a result the mail paint chipped off in 3 days. Every one around me was rushing me in the salon to go home. If they don’t have enough time to give service according to the money they charge they should stop accepting orders an hour or two before the closing. Poor service. Never going here again.

My go-to for manicures and pedicures. I come here about every two weeks. Competitive pricing — $50 for dip manicure, and $50 for a signature pedicure. The signature pedicure includes a long massage and vigorous (with a power tool!) callous removal. Even though I come here regularly, I don’t go to just one person. The staff is great and am usually happy to be helped by anyone here.

I asked for “natural looking acrylic nails” and the result was terrible. They didn’t even paint on a natural color, they just left it as it was and said “No one will be able to tell you have acrylic nails. They look natural.” Meanwhile I trying not to cry because my nails were not how I imagined them to look. I also got my finger cut by the person while she was filing my nails and it hurt pretty bad. Even google had better photos and suggestions for “natural looking acrylic nails” than what I recieved walking out the door. I paid over $50 for nails that look like they were glued on by myself. Maybe I should have clarified that I wanted her to pick out a natural color to put on the nails but the lady doing my nails interperted it like I wanted the nail to be ‘natural’ as in, ‘not painted at all’ instead of ‘painted to look natural.’

First time here as I am new to town. I read many reviews and felt that it was worth giving La Jolie a try. I will say that I do really think that the techs care and they were nice, but they were in very much of a hurry and the services seemed rushed like there was a quota to meet. (It was about 75% full at 10:15 on a Tuesday before thanksgiving.) I was not offered a menu or asked what pedicure service I wanted, I didn’t know there were pedicure options until I looked around to see other people having different things done during their pedicure. My fingernails have a ripple to the shellac, my cuticles are still a mess on some fingers and you can still see my old regular navy polish under this gel on my thumb. I think I will give them one more try on a less busy day but for now 3 stars.
