They’re always polite, professional, clean and provide the best attention to detail in Utah. Being a barber is an art and they’re masters of their craft. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I’ve been to a ton of barbershops in the valley and this one has been the best. D and his staff are great. I’ve been going to Savanna for almost a year and won’t go anywhere else. Great cuts and beard trims, highly recommend it. Not the cheapest of course but you get what you pay for and if you make an appointment they will always be ready when you come in which was real important to someone with a busy schedule.

When I first moved to SLC I really struggled to find a good barber that I felt was worth the money. Haircuts in SLC are steeper than were I am from, so I felt disappointed with a lot of the local offerings that I was trying out. Then I finally found Kraken and set an appointment, and was thrilled with the quality of the haircut. Savannah did a fantastic job, was fun to work with, and very fairly priced for how good of a job she did! Kraken has certainly earned my repeat business!

My first time going to a barbershop and I was super nervous, I didn’t have the vocabulary to say what I wanted and new experiences aren’t my favorite. But thankfully Oliver was super patient as I tried to explain what I wanted and gave me the perfect cut. Plus he is super friendly and easy to talk to. This is 100% my go to place and person for all future cuts!

If you want a quality cut, definitely start coming here. D is a fantastic barber and does a great job every single time – he’s super consistent. I also got setup on recurring appointments with D so I never go without a cut for too long, highly recommend you do the same. Great local shop run by a solid crew. Check them out ASAP.

Critical: ProfessionalismHORRIBLE customer service.I had an appointment and I was in a car crash the morning before my appointment so I wasn’t able to make it. I tried texting the number they said to contact if something came up with less than 24 hours from your appointment. They charge a 50$ fee if you don’t cancel your appointment a day in advance and you can’t make it. I was charged this $50 fee which I guess I can understand but given the circumstances I thought I felt I shouldn’t be punished for something outside my control I mean I understand that their time is valuable but what was I supposed to do? I did everything I could to straighten out the situation but this isn’t even the worst part.I texted the number listed and informed them of the situation and explained I wouldn’t be able to make it. I never got a response. The appointment comes and passes and I get an email saying “You didn’t make your appointment and you were listed as a no call no show.” This made absolutely no sense as I very clearly tried contacting them and they completely ignored me. I still haven’t gotten a response and it’s been over 2 weeks.I even sent them an email outline the same thing and included the screenshot of the text I send and I STILL DIDN’T GET A RESPONSE. It has now been over 2 weeks since I sent the text and a week since I sent the email and I have yet to get a response.I am beyond disappointed with this barber shop. Very unprofessional to list 2 forms of contact and not respond on either of them then send an email saying I didn’t try contacting them? Would not recommend.
