Went in yesterday to have my nails done. The sign there says walk-ins are welcome. I did however called in and ask if they had time for an acrylic fill, which they said they did. So, I came in as fast as I could and was criticized for the amount of time it took me to get there. There were at least 2 other people “working”, while this lady rushed through my fill. She would stop to answer the phone, she would stop and turned people away…& there were 2 women who came in not far apart from each other. The second woman said she had booked her November & December appts online and then the 2nd woman that (I assume worked there) came over to the desk and they showed the customer that she wasn’t on the books…I felt horrible for the customer because it seemed as if she was a frequent customer and they were so rude to her. They booked her on another day. The woman doing my nails came back and continued working on my nails, very roughly. Then her and the other woman that was working started talking to each other not in English & sometimes you just get the feeling when this happens, you can just feel they are talking about you. I felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. By the time I finished a few of my fingers were bleeding and my fingers were hurting from how rough they were…today, my fingers still hurt. I was trying to support a local business, however I don’t know how to support a place that causes unnecessary pain. I have had my nails done several times…actually for years & since moving to the Wahpeton/Breckenridge I’ve been trying hard to get my nails done locally because I believe in supporting small businesses where I live. However after the way I was treated and for how much my fingers hurt, I’m not sure I will be going back there. OH!! And the ventilation system in there is horrible. It horribly smells like their chemicals & gave my friend a horrible headache.

Went here this morning but they were closed! Couldn’t believe a nail salon being closed on a Saturday! However, I went to the one in Wahpeton and was very pleased. New owners there and all remodeled. Great pedi and mani with friendly service. Definitely will go back there next time I’m visiting in the area.
