PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!. She ( the owner) was two hours late, with no explanation or apology. I sent her a picture of what I wanted a few days back. She assured me she could do the style. WELL, she lied , It looked terrible. Then had the nerve to get defensive when I told her this was not what I wanted. She said she would fix it the next day and GUESS WHAT??? I could never got ahold of her again. I paid $300 for braids, that were only 24 inches long by the way, I had to take down in a week.

Critical: ProfessionalismI booked an appointment on Their site for a specific time and date ,and I paid in full and gave a tip ahead of time, when I tried to message the owner for the address, I get no response until after several messages only to be told they don’t start that early anymore anymore and that she already has a client that day. After several attempts to contact her again still no response but when I asked for a refund she asked how much did I pay and I told her 77 dollars because I wanted dreads and gave a tip she tells me that she can’t refund me my money from the site. After leaving several more messages asking if she can do my hair tomorrow, still no response until I sent a message with two question marks did she finally respond with these exact words.”I’ll do it Tuesday!!” After going through all that I will throw myself in front of a moving train before I ever do business with this establishment. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I booked with the owner, Jasmine, on her website, a week before my scheduled service (boho box braids). I realized that I had forgot to add that I wanted the braids knotless, so I tried to contact her, via the number listed on her website and Google, to see if I could modify the services in the appointment (her website suggested texting as the main form of communication). Turns out, that number was not in service. The next day, I reached out to her business page on Facebook to get a response. She responded with her correct number ONLY; didn’t answer a single question in my message. Next, I texted and called the new number, again no response. I tried to catch her at the shop two days before my appointment to get an answer, but was told by her shopmates that she doesn’t work on Monday. One of the girls was nice enough to give me her personal number to contact her. I texted the personal number and got no response until Wednesday (the morning of my appointment) at 6:40AM saying that her site overbooked her and she wouldn’t be able to do my hair. That Wednesday was the ONLY day I had available to do my hair before my Summer residency and vacation. I asked for a full refund and informed her of her unprofessionalism. I payed $235 for services and I’m STILL waiting on a refund, after she told me that it would only take 24 hours. She had enough time to block me on Facebook though. My issue isn’t really the overbooking, it’s the lack of communication and inability to offer an apology until I asked for a refund. I’ve talked to some other people in my town that said they had a similar experience with her. Don’t use this salon. She’s unprofessional and careless.
