I had been trying since 04/25/22 to get an appointment to retouch my relaxer and colors. I never got a response back. My last message was sent 05/02/22. To this day I have not heard back from her. And I really liked my hairstylist, just bummed that now with an upcoming trip to California I was left to find someone in LA during my trip there with a hairstylist I know out there who agreed to see me, but I also had to find a hairstylist for after I come back for an appointment at the end of August. It’s the worse feeling believing I nearly had no one to do my hair because absolutely no one in Longview, WA can do my hair or they are not skilled in doing black hair. It’s the one thing I regret leaving California because I never had this problem.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueI took my daughter to Roslyn, and although her work was good she overcharged me based on the phone calls we had about cost. She’s also not good with tender headed people. I told her my daughter was, and she replayed oh great that’s just one more thing. How unprofessional! We will not be returning after the first experience and based on her quote for box braids. She tried to say the length, size, and my daughter’s hair amounted to $200 to start is a rip off. The black community is too small here for price gouging. Her work is not worth the price. I’ll stick with Divinity Salon in Vancouver. Anita is a true professional and includes shampooing, conditioning, and detangling in the cost of service. I really love this salon. It’s a nice space, clean and everyone is super kind. Nikky is a great stylist and very sweet too. I always feel welcome there and they are good about listening and delivering when it comes to haircuts. I highly recommend this place.

Noone ever returns your phone call or confirms, they are all too busy and so unorganized. Tee was so unprofessional and unreliable. In the end, I did finally get my hair done and it was such a hassle, and the stylist wasn’t as skilled as I hoped for the price I paid. I won’t be coming back.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI recently went & was serviced by Nadege at Jayah Rose on Easter Sunday. Let me begin by saying I had a phenomenal time! She stood and braided my hair for 12 hours straight and not once did I utilize my ipad, phone or read my book for the duration of my hair service. If that doesn’t tell you how amazing of a woman Nadege is to speak to, socialize with and be serviced by, than I don’t know what does.I love my braids – I got waist length, knotless micros using kanekalon hair. Due to my occupation, I contacted Nadege hoping for a quick turnover. Mind you her schedule was BOOKED out for at least the ensuing month. Although (due to my own scheduling) I had to reschedule my braiding appt with her – she found time on a whole holiday no less and provided me exceptional service.She BODIED the look and I am so grateful to her not only for the service but for the insightful widsom and unforgettable conversation we had for the duration of my style! It couldn’t have been more in divine timing to be fit into her full schedule and serviced as wonderfully as I was. The establishment was very clean and spacious. She kept her station & tools clean between clients and adhered to covid protocols. She even gassed me up when we were taking photos of the ‘after’ for her social media.I say this to say I had an amazing time and i’d still go back even if I wasn’t getting braids done just to see Nadege.P.S. I get color 60 kanekalon hair which if you know, you know it tangles like nobodies business and truthfully I felt bad she had to deal with it (it’s the only brand I can find online in white) kudos to her for not once mentioning it and still doing what she did!Thank you, Nadege!
