Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI had an amazing massage earlier this summer on the back deck, it was very relaxing and they were up front with pricing. I greatly appreciated my massage therapist asking me if I wanted deep tissue and then telling me it was going to be an up charge of $10, should I want it. I’ve been to too many spas that will do services without making the up charge known. I also just went in for a haircut with Jodi after not having one for over a year, and absolutely love the job she did! I had an amazing massage earlier this summer on the back deck, it was very relaxing and they were up front with pricing. I greatly appreciated my massage therapist asking me if I wanted deep tissue and then telling me it was going to be an up charge of $10, should I want it. I’ve been to too many spas that will do services without making the up charge known. This is practically the only place where you can say that the owner lived in Japan for two years to deepen his understanding of massage therapy through the lens of Taoist philosophy. As soon as you arrive and walk through their front door, you can feel the intentionality behind the design of their space and how quickly you find yourself quieting your mind and preparing yourself for relaxation and recovery. The hot tub was a great way to spend an hour loosening and warming up your muscles before we went in for massages with Marc and Erika.
