Kristl (owner) of Illusions Hair Bar can be described by one word: PHENOMENAL!!! I am new to Fort Lauderdale/Tamarac area so finding a good hair stylist was a scary process so I thought! Lol. I would recommend any woman young and old to visit Illusions Hair Bar if they are truly seeking a Great Hair Experience!!! What can I say accept wow! The owner Krystl has a very intimate, personal hair salon. You will be quite surprised. The salon is in a office suite. Nothing fancy HOWEVER…AND I REPEAT HOWEVER don’t judge a book by its cover. If you want a one on one experience with a hair professional who truly cares about you and your beauty then you have come to the right place. She dedicates an over abundance of time to get to know you and your hair before she begins. Since beauty comes from with in she starts with a a game plan taylored to your personality. Krstyl colored my hair over a course of 2 appointments because I had severely damaged hair from another salon. The first day we met at her salon and drove to the hair supply store to buy products specific products and toners for my damaged hair. Then we went back to her salon to fix my damaged hair. Let’s face it ladies NO ONE DOES THIS. Krystl is a one of a kind person and professional. She styles, colors, cuts, blows, perms etc hair. She also has a huge heart for women with hair loss. So much so that she makes one of a kind- unique, wigs from real hair for women with alopecia, hair loss due to chemotherapy or any other medical reason. She’ll also make you a real haired wig if you want to just change your style of look. She will color your wig whatever color you’d like and whatever style you like. As far as her fees for service. She gives quality service, and great care at a very reasonable cost. Did I mention she has a big screen TV so you can relax and enjoy the time watching your favorite movie or sitcom. It’s truly a ladies day out experience. If I could give Krystl 10**s I would. Five doesn’t seem enough.
