It was my first time at this salon and it was a terrible experience and an absolute waste of my money. My technician rushed a powder manicure that looks horrendous, my nails have a terrible shape and the powder is way too thick. The tech did not properly clean around my nail bed to remove excess product. A truly unprofessional job and the technician I had needs to get more training. Now I have to spend more money to go to another salon to have it properly done. Also the customer service is the worst–how are you a first time client and the receptionist does not ask you how was your service? This is my first and last time at this salon.

I went here last week while waiting for the croissant line at Lafeyette bakery. While I was getting a gel manicure it was clear something was amiss. The top coat was not curing properly and the nails were bumpy not smooth. I brought this to the attention of my nail and she and the staff started trying to

Had a great experience here! The owner was lovely and all the nail technicians were friendly. The nail art came out beautifully – but I had to return the next day because some of the ribbons came off and had to be reapplied. I docked a star off for that. After reapplication, the ribbons have stayed on and I absolutely love it!

Horrible service, first of all they rush you, and after giving her cash tip she wanted more tip in the credit card. She thought that I didn’t notice, that she asked the girl who was processing my credit card to see if I added more tip and then she started talking about it . Very unprofessional. after removing my nail polish my nails started breaking and my nails looks horrible.

Easy spot for a quick manicure. Service was excellent, easy to get an appointment. Got a basic manicure with a buff for two for under 40 bucks.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueToday I went to get color power tips removed. The site said removal would be $12 and over the phone I was told $20. I figured the in store menu prices were different but they weren’t. Before starting I was told it’d be $15 just to later be told $20 in the middle of removal. The woman said removing powder tips is always $20 for everyone. I expressed concern about paying a price that isn’t listed anywhere but kept getting told that’s what I had to pay. The worst thing about the experience is how painful it was. The first woman soaked my nails and proceeded to rake at my nails with a nail file. It began to hurt and the woman got frustrated and continued. I kept saying it was hurting and she switched with someone else. 3 different ladies tried using the same aggressive technique despite me telling them all it was painful. I asked if they had any other methods and was told no. They kept mentioning how weak my nails already were which would be all the more reason to be less aggressive. They were very inconsiderate and the manager even questioned if I was seriously in pain after I told her she was using too much force and that it hurt. After all that a 4th woman took a go at it and using the electric file instead. This method was 100% painless and the woman occasionally checked in on me to make sure it wasn’t hurting. I left with a cut on my right pinky finger and super rough nail beds. Never have I ever had a nail file used directly on the bed of my nails. And not once did anyone ever apologize. Ridiculous. Won’t go here again.Today I went to get color power tips removed. The site said removal would be $12 and over the phone I was told $20. Critical: Professionalismi think my nails look great. it was customer service that was the issue. i have heard and experienced that they make you pay WHILE doing your nails. but only if you look “sketchy” because if it’s a white girl, they ask when the service is over. i was in the middle of receiving my base coat when another lady bombards me with the check. like what. and how are you going to ask for tip when i haven’t even seen my final product. it is just more ridiculous when i noticed that the white girls in the salon ALL paid after their service and i HAPPENED to be an exception.. that’s not cute.i think my nails look great. it was customer service that was the issue. i have heard and experienced that they make you pay WHILE doing your nails. but only if you look “sketchy” because if it’s a white girl, they ask when the service is …More

this was a very speedy pedicure. The basic pedicure costs $50 -which is not a cheap, but the feeling with that if I did not pay for the extras, like the spa pedicure, they were doing the bare basic work. I would not go here again.

I have been coming here for around a year on and off and they usually do a good job and my nails last a long time. But on Wednesday I got a gel manicure, which is my usual and the next two days most of my nails chipped and one was fully broken, I go back and explain to them the situation and all they do is make fun of me and call me a liar and want me to pay to repair the nail. Of course because of the terrible treatment I left and I will never come again. TERRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT COME HERE

UNTRUTHFUL AND CROOKED….$78.00 for a gel refill!!! Do NOT come to this place. I came in here with nails on already. I wanted a gel refill. When I sat down, I asked how much it’ll be. She told me $38.00 and I immediately look at the chart to see what was $38.00. I needed to leave and come back because school and work isn’t far. I left $10.00 because she removed the gel…I didn’t mind this because I’m a very understanding person and I know that you can’t expect any free in this life. When I came back, they proceeded. In my mind, I was paying the remaining balance of 28.00 because the lady that was working on my nails told me $38. I get up when she’s done and give $5.00 tip because I’m a good person and always give extra. The lady at the register tells me that the polish isn’t included! The gel polish alone was $28.00 in addition to the $38.00. They were all looking when I chose a gel polish when I first arrived. Why wouldn’t the lady tell me after seeing that I chose a gel polish once I walked in that the gel polish is $28.00 and not included with the refill cost?! When I asked her to show me on the price list, she tells me to look at the silk wraps/warps which is something I didn’t even get. Nowhere on their price list is there a separate charge of $28.00 indicated. Needless to say, after paying $78.00 that I won’t be coming back here. My coworkers at NYU won’t be coming back either after this incident. I hope the $78.00 was worth losing my entire dept. You all should really be ashamed of yourselves! There are good people in this world and it’s wrong to downright lie when someone ask you about a price. I didn’t even ask for my $5.00 tip back after being dissatisfied. When you do people wrong, it comes back to you 100 fold. Then she told me “yeah ok” when I told them I would post my bad experience. Not to mention that everyone around me was asked about a frequent customer card and if they were NYU students. It’s mighty funny that the only black person in the salon doesn’t get asked these questions.
