Discovered House of Gold through a local Ms Chester event and I am so glad I did! I had been looking for a local hair salon since moving to the area 1.5 years ago. I feel lucky to have found this place. Rochelle, the owner, is phenomenal. Not only are you treated incredibly well here but the ladies truly know their stuff about hair! I feel relaxed, refreshed and beautiful every time I leave the salon. The salon itself is also gorgeous and they provide so many little perks that truly make them stand out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a consistently amazing hair experience. 5/5 stars!

Not only does she take her time to make sure what I want done is perfected but she also goes above and beyond in explaining the “why” behind some of her techniques (I have curly and very unruly hair).My last visit on 9/2/21 was the BEST haircut Morgan has ever given me. From the fantastic scalp massage that basically put me to sleep to the most beautiful face frame I’ve ever seen on myself all the way to the prettiest beach waves she gave me, I was absolutely amazed.I will always continue to follow Morgan solely based on the fact she is polite, she is a great communicator, she is full of knowledge and is great at helping me find products that work best & most important of all SHE IS CONSISTENT!!!!Trust me, RUN do not walk to book your next appointment with Morgan! WOW!! This place is amazing! When I first walked in it was amazing to see so many stylists and customers. I hesitated to make an appointment at first because I had never seen the hourly price model before, but it was actually great. Maybe a little more expensive than other salons in the area, the most amazing thing was I did not feel rushed AT ALL. I felt like I had a whole hour to myself for the haircut. Morgan took her time, gave me an awesome hair wash with hot towel and some wonderfully smelling spritz of something. Then, Morgan gave me the best haircut of my life and I walked out feeling amazing and already booked my next appointment. Thank you Morgan and House of Gold!!

I had the best experience ever with Liz. I came in for a high light and haircut and i was really satisfied with the services I received!! Not only that but she was so friendly and so outgoing. I had a appointment with Christie and she did a amazing job with highlighting my hair. This was my first time getting highlights. Rochelle worked with my budegt and helped me out with that. The only problem I have is that now my hair is super tangled, I can barely brush it out and every time I do I’m losing so much hair. I wish it was more explained to me the process of everything, from start to finish and the after. I probably wouldn’t have gotten it done if I knew I would lose so much hair. I most likely wouldn’t go back, I would find someone who takes the time explaining the whole process.
