I’ve been coming here for about 9 months since moving to the area. I’ve had my hair cut by nearly all of the barbers and they all do a fantastic job! They are kind and conversational and leave you feeling like a million bucks! The warm towel at the end is a nice touch too! Haircut

I have been to a couple places down here with high expectations because of the reviews and reputation for the faded 50s style I wanted, but was surprised to get some bad haircuts, one being at a place I would not have expected to mess up. The error of the former places was not taking the time to blend out the lines in my fade and not blending in the top well.

I scheduled an appointment online with these folks for a haircut, because their site will not allow you to select “haircut AND beard trim”. I received at least 6 confirmation texts in one day to remind me of my appointment. When I called to ask them to please quit texting me and to schedule me for a beard trim (about a 5 minute job) for the same appointment, I was told “we are really booked solid and probably won’t have time to do a beard trim. When I told them about the issue(s) with scheduling on their web site, I was told “you just aren’t doing it right”. I am retired from 30 years in A&T’s corporate I.T. division, so I am pretty sure that I know how to “do it right”. When I showed up for my appointment, there was one customer in a chair and three barbers. They offered me a free (I assume) liquor drink, and told me that they could cut my hair, but couldn’t guarantee that they could get to my beard. I would gladly have passed on the drink (which I did), if they could have spent their time cutting my hair and beard, instead. One of the barbers told me that I should have selected the “cut and trim” option on their web site, which doesn’t even mention beards at all. I finally decided to leave them with plenty of free time on their hands and promised to share my experience with everybody I know! I have lived and worked in T.R. for over 35 years and this is just another example of bull-headed stubbornnes and the gentrification of Travelers Rest! Do yourselves a favor a find yourselves a REAL barbershop, instead of some yuppie spa.

Love this place. I have been going here for almost a year and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Great staff, great haircuts, easy in — easy out. Plus you get some free bourbon or beer which is a winner in my book.

Miranda was amazing, cut and shave was spot on. Definitely friendly atmosphere in there and definitely returning. Make sure to get an appointment or call ahead so they can fit you in. Only 3 ladies cutting hair
