Mandy did my hair and makeup for my June wedding. I felt beautiful and the hair and makeup stayed all night…even on a hot summer night while dancing! She was so easy to talk to and she listened to what I had in mind during a trial run. Harper and Olive was quick to fix a schedule issue as well and they’re whole team seems accommodating, knowledgable and truly talented.

I hired Mandy for my hair and makeup for my wedding 10-25-2020. I can’t recommend her enough!!! I’ve literally never looked or felt more beautiful in my life. My makeup was perfection and my hair was exactly what I wanted. My sisters and mom also looked stunning and her assistant, Nina, did amazing hair for them. I really can’t say enough good things about Mandy and the entire team at Harper and Olive. From when I went in for my trail, to my spray tan, to the wedding, they were amaaazing.

Hi I worked with Christina(Nina) for my bridal party hairupdo. She was absolutely fabulous , very patient and customizing the styles for all my 7 bridesmaids. It was because of Nina that all my bridal party felt gorgeous that day. I definitely recommend her for any special event or even a simple haircut. She is awesome . Thanks Nina for everything!

Just don’t. The owner, Mandy, is very unprofessional. She told my friend the night before her wedding she couldn’t do her hair and makeup (ultimately because of miscommunication at HER salon), but then she agreed to come. However, when the time came that she said she would show she didn’t and she didn’t answer any calls. I understand she was confused, but no one deserves to be left high and dry on their wedding day, least of all my friend.

I hired this company for my wedding, because I had seen them at a bridal show. I loved my hair and makeup trials, but things went downhill from there. They couldn’t seem to get the details of my wedding right, and I had to go in for a second makeup trial due to an employee quitting. While there, I told them that my number of girls getting hair and makeup done would be different and we verified details, so I thought. They called one week before my wedding date and had everything wrong- number of girls, time, etc. I corrected them, and two days before the wedding they STILL had the number wrong. The best part comes when Mandy, the owner, texted me THE NIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING about an hour before my rehearsal dinner saying I had broken my contract by not discussing the changes with them in ample time and that I would have to pay $1900. This came after her saying she had been out of town so she didn’t contact me sooner, and claiming it was ridiculous that I was claiming her employees didn’t communicate or write the correct info down. Eventually, we thought we had figured it out and she said she’d come at 11:00 the next day. Well guess what friends, SHE NEVER SHOWED. You read that right, she did not come ON MY WEDDING DAY to do her job after telling me she would. Did not answer her phone, did not answer texts, nothing, after agreeing to do the job. It’s one thing to argue a broken contract, but to do so the night before someone’s wedding, blatantly lie about your expectations, and then completely leave them hanging is absolutely unprofessional and petty. Do not trust this company. They will not pay attention to your details and them blame you, and you’ll end up with no professional hair and makeup service on your big day. Luckily my bridesmaids did a great job with me, but it shouldn’t have been an issue. Again, DO NOT HIRE.
