Hannu is a wonderful man and the haircut you will leave with, in addition to being extremely high quality, will be unique to you and your style. Hannu does not just cut hair, he designs hair. From the time you sit down on that chair until you leave, the whole experience is a very enjoyable one. He plays excellent music too. Ask him to put on some jazz – he has a good music collection.

I just spent an hour with Hannu. This was my first visit. It was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had getting my hair cut. If you’re new to the area, or are tired or the same old $18 impersonal haircut, go to Hannu. He made me feel extremely welcome and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. Trust him with your hair and you will not be disappointed with the outcome. a true master of his craft (although he humbly says he is still mastering).

Simply the best there is, hands down Hannu is the gold standard in which to compare all other barbers to! I asked around and was suprised to hear of how many loyal customers there are and it’s not hard to see why the man is a profesional and a gentleman, the epitome of class with a very welcoming personality. The first time I walked in he greeted me with a smile and treated me like I was an old friend. His knowledge and skills as a barber are unmatched by any other barber I’ve ever been to, he is a genius you can tell that he truly has a passion for his work. I am bald and I go to Hannu’s because the man knows how to style facial hair like a true Profesional. I am very self concious of my beard, it grew patchy in some places and was quckly becoming wirey and unkempt. I went to Hannu and I instantly became a customer for life! The man is a miracle worker I have never had my beard look this good! I have complete confidence in Hannu and trust his judgement when it comes to what will work for me, he listens to what u want and caters to the unquie needs of all his customers, my only regret is i wish I had gone to him sooner! His barber shop is a gem hidden away in Willimantic, I STRONGLY suggest that every man visit Hannu’s at least once in their lifetime in order to get the full barber experience.

(Just wanted to say, Hannu is still the best guy to cut your hair & beard: 2018) I’ve been going to Hannu’s for many decades. Hannu is a great guy & a superb barber. Well, I should say a hair stylist. As one of the rare barbers that cuts your hair when it is dry (Isn’t it usually dry?), his shapes your haircut to your own head’s features. Oh, when your hair is wet, it looks great too! He will offer you some suggestions on how he could cut your hair – and actually does it that way. If there is something special you want, he can do that too. Facial hair – he’s the best. His techniques are his own – if he was located in a major city like LA or Boston, he’d be one of the best. We’re fortunate to have him here in Willimantic, close to UCONN & ECSC. You should know his haircuts will last a lot longer than any other shop. His prices are very fair. He is a gentlemen and a true professional. Give him a try – you’ll be back. (PS – Shampoo your hair before you go, so he can see it how it normally lays on your head.)

My second haircut was better than the first, and the first was great. My wife said it was the best haircut I’ve ever had. I’ve never met a barber with this much passion for hair. Just let him do what he wants and he’ll give you a haircut that fits you. He’s not cheap, but he’s worth every penny.
