My wife had a terrible experience in dealing with one of the managers of this location. Previously I had transferred multiple packages to her name so that she could use them as needed, but after today’s session she was informed that such transfers can only be accomplished three times a year. I have been a customer and client of this location for YEARS and this had never come up despite me transferring well over 6 packages within a calendar year. When this was brought up to the manager there was no accommodation or reasonable explanation for the rule change. The facial was nice, the esthetician was skilled and professional, but the manager of the branch brought the whole experience down. She was grossly unprofessional not only to myself over the phone but to my wife in person as well as over the phone. She was accusatory that my wife was apparently ‘stealing’ the packages that I am giving her freely and threatened to call me later to confirm that she should/could have used them. She rapidly backpedaled when my wife asked if I needed to come in. For such a customer/client centric it matters both in what you say and also how it is said. Her attitude toward my wife was foul in a most extreme way.

I was a very good customer here for years. I usually paid 6- 12 months in advance for service s rather than month to month. Then the pandemic hit. After they reopened I had quite a few sessions left . Every time I called there were no openings so I ended up traveling to Langehorne, PA for several visits. Finally they found an opening for me at Nassau Park but after my service told me my 3 prepaid packages were expired & I was charged $129 for my service, not even given an option to rejoin. I think the people who work here are wonderful, management is the problem. I have a gift card for anyone who wants it. I plan to file a complaint with NJ Consumer Affairs. Avoid this place. There is a new Hand & Stone on 206 next to Tiger’s Tale; perhaps they are a better choice! Jean

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI have always had great experiences here but today the two women at the front desk were rude and completely unhelpful. I have been a member for years and had a couple packages to use up so I went to get a 90 minute massage thinking I could use a package and a half. No one told me that you could not use half packages and no one said it would be 30 dollars extra before my appointment. That should be told to the customer when booking so that the customer is aware. When I asked to speak to the manager, she was not willing to work with me at all and was very unfriendly. She basically said it is what it is and there’s no way we can split packages or do it any other way.The massage was only 80 minutes on top of all of this too…I asked to freeze my account and even for that it’s extra money to freeze! Every month I pay 80 dollars and that’s not enough to cover freezing my account for a couple of months?I canceled my membership out of pure frustration from the lack of customer service. I have been a member for years and had a couple packages to use up so I went to get a 90 minute massage thinking I could use a package and a half. It’s easy to book online or call, they offer upgrades and packages but aren’t pushy about it at all. Isaac was great, and my last massage was with Amy who listened when I told her firm pressure and worked around a thumb nerve injury excellently knowing just where she should and shouldn’t massage without me having to specify.
