Laura is amazing, knowledgeable, flexible and so reasonably priced. super friendly to talk to as you get your cut, style. Color or whatever it may be, she will make you feel welcomed and she knows hair! Any type. Have been going to her for several years now. Best in the business. I drive 30 min there and back to see her. So super worth it for sure! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I went in today to get my first haircut in Skiatook. I have just moved here and suffered an injury that left me bed ridden for five months. So, a fresh hair cut was one of the first things I wanted to do for myself, outside of the house. Anyway, I entered the facility to see if I could even get a haircut on such short notice? Three hair professionals were taking care of customers. Two said they booked for the day…one however said she could work me in today and just wait in a chair in the lobby. I asked how long a wait would it be, because I have my dog in the car…minutes or hours? She just said she would get to me soon…whatever that means? No other person was in the lobby waiting. I could hear this hair professional taking calls for appointments while working on her customer. No one and I mean no one, likes you to stop in the middle of a hair cut to make other appointments. Very unprofessional and complete disregard for the paying customer sitting in her chair. Get a receptionist or let the potential customer leave a message. A few more people file into the lobby now. Finally, the hair professional finished with her customer…almost chasing him out the door trying to set up his next appointment. Then she asks me…after 37 minutes of setting in the lobby…”Do you want to go and do something while she cuts these folks hair, because they had an appointment or should I just leave and she could call me later when she isn’t busy to do my hair.” Really? Really! I commented to her…”That is why I asked at the beginning, if it was going to be a short or long wait time.” She just looked at me with a blank stare. Really strange interaction to say the least. Probably will not be back.

Great spot to get a trim or style, for men or women. Stylists are always available for walk-ins (men) and do a great job. Service is kind and fast, and facilities are pleasant and clean.

Made an appointment 3 weeks in advance, emailed pictures of the up do I wanted for my daughters wedding and the day,of the appointment, 4 hours before the wedding, I was told by the stylist that she couldn’t do the style agreed upon 3 weeks prior. Very unhappy and my hair was not at all what I wanted. It was pretty and all but nothing like the pics that were emailed almost a month before.
