Didn’t really understand the pricing structure. It said a women’s cute + shampoo + blowdry was about $30, but it ended up being $45 before tip. Par for the course these days. Maybe they just need to update the menu. It was quick, though, and a great cut. I’ve gotten tons of compliments. I’ll be back!

I scheduled an appointment for this morning, almost a week ago. 30 minutes before my appointment they just randomly cancelled on me (via email, not even a phone call) and pushed it to the following day without checking. She said she was overbooked and thought that was a better solution, but unfortunately it was not as I work during the week. I will forever be searching elsewhere for a place that is not continually overbooking and one that handles clients more professionally.

I’ve been going to this salon nearly exclusively for a few years now; both with an appointment and as a walk in. I’ve consistently enjoyed short wait times in the waiting room (unless as a walk in, I’m advised that the next available time is later that day… then it’s up to me if I wanna sit there or go and come back). The staff are friendly and personable. Val is exceptionally skilled at making hair magic and I always leave with a renewed confidence. I’ve also observed some of her other clients leave her chair with an extra bounce in their step. All in all I am very happy with the service I’ve enjoyed with this business.

I’ve been using HairMasters for the last three years, about nine months ago they got a new manager, and all of the sudden walk-ins started to take three to four hours in order to get a haircut. Before, it only took ten minutes to an hour, and one day I walked in to get a haircut, there was three girls, it was 1pm, and I was told I couldn’t get a haircut. I was told to come back in four hours. I said it only takes ten minutes to cut my hair, and there was no body in the salon at the time. They said they were sorry, but they couldn’t do that. I stood outside, and I filmed the store for 45 minutes, one employee just sat at the front desk, one other employee went to lunch, and one employee was in the back for 20 minutes. Then after all that time, a customer finally came in. The lady in the back took care of her, and the woman at the front desk was still sitting there. The lady that left for lunch came back after a half hour, I continued to video tape for another 10 minutes, and a man with his son went in, and the lady at the desk told them to come back at six thirty, how I know that, when the man came out, I asked him. I gave up video taping after the 45 minutes, I have gone to the salon on a few other occasions, and couldn’t get a haircut, I even made an appointment, and had to wait 35 minutes. And today 10/9/2015 I made an appointment, and got there at 4:00, for a 4:15 appointment with my nephew, and the manager said ” I’m the one that took your phone call this morning.” I asked if she was going to give me a good haircut. She said ” I don’t know, I don’t like people recording videos of me.” I said I’m sorry, I felt that your main office needed to know what was going on with the walk-ins. I was told to leave the store, or they would threaten to call the police. So I did with my nephew that stood outside the door. Anybody that’s reading this, you make your own decision if you want to use this salon.

I’m not a regular. Every time I go in to HairMaster I am treated like I don’t matter. I ask for one thing. But never get the cut I want. I have 2 cowlicks I inform the stylest of. Yet they mess it up every time. I won’t go there again. As for the cost it is the cheapest in town

The girl that cut my hair was very friendly and nice, which is why I’m giving this three stars. I had asked to trim just a bit off my hair, as it was long. I didn’t want to take much off, and that was my expectation. Well, the near end result was hair on the top that was much longer than the bangs, with the sides trimmed too much, and my hair in the back being off from what I wanted. Trimmed up top to help, but this resulted in a poor job. I had to go home and make some cuts to make up for it.
