I visited this business due to it’s great reviews. Requested what I thought was a common haircut “short bob”. My hair was already at short-medium length. I told the stylist Maddy If the length of my hair affected shaping a short bob then I was fine with not doing a bob and just having a short straight haircut. Maddy went above my neckline and raised the bob exposing the back of my head. it looks gross. She had good manners but not the skill-set or common sense to make a good haircut. The owner was nice and tried to fix it. But you can’t fix over cutting. My tip to Maddy is to make more observations or ask the owner when in doubt. I do not have attachment to my hair. It will grow back but I do have an attachment to my appearance and I currently look ridiculous until it grow back.

Thanks again for the outstanding cut Mrs. Gaye (I hope I spelled that right). I’ve never enjoyed a haircut until I came here. Friendly, fast, and cheap. Let’s just say, I tipped more than what the haircut cost and didn’t regret it once. The old adage goes “shut up and take my money” with all due respect of course.

My husband and I have been going to Hair Villa for several years now for cuts, color, and styles. Gay, the owner, does fabulous work on our hair. She is friendly, listens to what you would like her to do, and then is very fast and efficient in doing just that for a reasonable cost. I have never had any complaints on how she has done my hair. I believe any of the other stylists at Hair Villa would do a great job also, but I have not personally had my hair done by anyone but Gay. I would highly recommend Hair Villa!!
