Truth be told, I almost wanted to refuse to pay for the service I was given and leave in the middle of the styling. Diana did not listen to what I wanted, and refused to put rollers on my hair saying my hair was too curly at the roots. This is not true, as I always do this at Spanish salons and it makes my hair look incredible. She clearly does not work well with textured hair. I thought she might be able to manage it because she is also latina. Even so, she didn’t take time to wash the gel out of my hair and it was barely even scrubbed. Then she blamed me for not telling her I had gel in my hair. I did not even have much on. On top of that she spent an hour burning my damaged hair with a flat iron despite me telling her I didn’t want it. She was so persistent. So I sat there smelling my hair burn at the hands of a woman who made me feel insecure. It was so bad I had to ask for a French braid to look decent to go outside. Even that turned out to be just below mediocre. I paid 35 dollars for something I could have done all by myself in half the amount of time. If you have anything other than your standard caucasian type hair, avoid this place like the plague. Diana did not listen to what I wanted, and refused to put rollers on my hair saying my hair was too curly at the roots. I’m so happy i stumbled across this salon. The women were very sweet and social. The salon was clean and nice. I came in as a walk in looking for major change. Dream was happy to help. I went from my hair being past my shoulders to a chin length bob. She gave me exactly what i had asked for and did an amazing job. Price is very fair! I will absolutely be back!
