I went in for a back and side shave, and the stylist left my hair uneven. It felt like the clippers she used were dull or something?? I had random longer spots everywhere the clippers touched. I had even shown her a picture of what I wanted, which was a nice, clean straight line. It wasn’t even supposed to be a fade, which is a bit more difficult. She also didn’t turn on the lights in the store?? The whole experience just gave off the feel that she didn’t care AT ALL about what she was doing. The only saving grace was that the cut was symmetrical enough for me to fix it myself without going bald.

I went into Hair Express in Quarryville for the first time today. I just recently moved here. I myself am a Hair stylist and have been for 10 years. I Just don’t always have time to do my own hair. The shop i work at is crazy busy as well and sometimes its juts nice to be the client. I went in for a partial highlight and trim. The color went well for the most part, Although i think the highlights could have gone a little lower. The cut is a whole other story. My hair is an inch and half longer on one side than the other. It very uneven in the layers as well as the length. The entire time she was cutting my hair she was in conversation with other customers and staff and rarely with me. I also asked for my hair to be round brushed and blown out but was just a quick blow dry. As a person in this industry I understand we rely on our tips, so i did tip 10$ for her time. I did not notice the unevenness of the cut until i got home and styled it myself. Rose was very nice as a person and i hate being the bad guy with bad reviews but i figure if anything this can help better the stylist.

Critical: ProfessionalismWe walk in and the woman on the front desk did not even say hello, than she looks at us and said you ready without even knowing who was getting a hair cut. Worst customer service ever, she lucky my daughter just wanted a trim and that she chose to stay cause I would off walked right back out. We will not be coming back. I arrived at hair express at approximately 2:30-2:50. I was refused service despite the fact that they’re wasn’t a single person waiting OR being served. Customer service is terrible. They will ask how you want your hair done, and then they’ll cut/ style it whichever ways easiest for them. All-around the laziest, worst hair salon I’ve ever been dispriveledged enough to have to pay for. Very dissatisfied

Not only was the quality of my haircut poor, but the staff was not warm or inviting. I felt like I wasn’t welcome and my business was not appreciated. My hair is very short, and I simply had them buzz the sides from a 1 into a 2, then asked for a scissor cut on top… She buzzed the sides and took about 3 scissor cuts than said she was done. I went to pay and the total was $17- I have NEVER paid much for a haircut (I’m used to paying $10-12 and leave a $2-3 tip… more than $15 for a mens cut, particularly of that poor of quality,is too much).

EVmooERYBODY in the salon heard itN. Needless to say story spread by a fellow employee spread the word outside of work. Have they no compassion? This stuff is hell to get rid of.

Depending on who you get they do a pretty good job cost about $27 and of course a tip so they take walk-ins and they do appointments they cut your hair that they will color your hair and they do updos they also pierce your ears and yeah I do go there so thumbs up
