Terrible haircut by Lorna. I wasn’t even offered a way to get it fixed free of charge. Please don’t go here. The customer service is terrible as well. I guess calling in ahead of time and asking for a stylist that is good at cutting thick hair and coming in the next day isn’t enough to ensure a descent hair cut from this place.

I have been a customer at this Haircuttery for about 10 years. This positive review is long overdue. I have a short pixie cut and I get my eyebrows done there as well, so I am in the store every 3 weeks. Each time I enter, I am greeted by a friendly stylist at the front desk. My personal stylist is Reyna and she is absolutely fabulous. She helped me find the perfect haircut for me and has kept it up. She takes her time when waxing my eyebrows and I no longer have skin irritation after waxing, which was a problem at other places. I’ve stopped coloring my hair and embraced the salt and pepper look, but when I did do color, Reyna always patiently helped me choose a good color. The salon is clean and well-kept and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for an appointment. I know a lot of people (me too!) go to Haircuttery b/c it’s affordable, but for me, the service I get there is as good as any higher priced salon that I’ve been to. I truly appreciate the awesome women that make going to this salon a positive experience! Thank you-

I made an appointment a few days in advance. When I arrived at the scheduled time, I was told that my appointment would not be honored because they were seeing other customers. Isn’t that the point of making an appointment? Of course, I will no longer be patronizing this establishment.

I booked online the Signature Kids Cut with Blowout. I spoke with Marta, before she worked on my daughter’s hair, and discussed the type of cut. Marta saw my daughter’s hair & not once mentioned that I would have to pay an additional $16 for long hair. When she rang me up, I was shocked to be charged more than 150% of what I budgeted for the day. I don’t begrudge paying for services & tipping well, but the lack of transparency of what I would ultimately be charged is shady. Why not just be honest about your prices & services? If a car mechanic can do it, why can’t Hair Cuttery?

Everytime I come here I make an appointment and yet they take walk ins during my appointment – and then make me wait with conditioner in my hair for 20+ minutes. This is probably my last time here. They need to respect the time of people who make appointments here instead of pretending like this is the amount it takes for conditioner to set in etc. they do this with color too – make you wait 45 minutes with color in your hair (happens to me many times) so they can take walk ins.
