If I could give a negative star, I would. I had an appointment at 3pm and showed on time. When I arrived, Bridget, who was supposed to braid my hair, was already braiding another customer’s hair. I waited an hour and eventually left. I don’t like my time being wasted. I put off other errands to attend this appointment. If you’re not going to be available at the requested time, don’t let people make appointments. I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND AT ALL. Go to braiders who will respect your time.

Do not sign up for the braid club it is such a scam…they will charge you monthly and make it almost impossible to use the services promised! I’m going to have to dispute the charges and cancel my card such a pain! Box Braids

I’ve been to this braiding stylist thee times. They did a great job each time and I am very satisfied. The first time, I made an appointment and requested ‘tree Braids’ which is a complex braiding method. I requested a small modification to the usual ‘menu’ style. Everything went beautifully. The other two times, I walked in and she remembered my request and again I was impressed.

I got individuals here and was more than satisfied so when I wanted crotchets I returned. DO NOT COME HERE FOR CROTCHETS!!! The woman who braided my hair made the cornrows so small it felt like she was ripping my hair out when she was using the crotchet needle through. I was in so much pain, I didn’t thoroughly look at my hair when I left. The next day I went out of town for a wedding&realized she left so much cornrow exposed in the front. If you want regular individuals or Senegalese twists they are great. Not so much with other styles

Good experience. Shop is located in a house. You must enter through back. You need to wash and blow dry hair. I recommend getting pricing up front. The hair was provided but I ended up paying almost $100 more than what I thought. The knotless box braids turned out nice.

I knew I wanted braids but had no idea where to go. I looked online and read reviews. The HBC kept coming up. I called and asked some questions. Brigitte was very helpful and scheduled my appointment for the next day. When I arrived, she was ready for me. She went over what style I wanted and in what color. Less than 3 hours later she was done with my jumbo Senegalese twists and the looked great! I asked her to put them up in a bun since it was in the 90s. Brigitte did a cute bun and I couldn’t be happier. Braids were on point and most importantly MY EDGES ARE STILL LAID. Baby hair is poppin!

The service was excellent!! I came in last minute to get my hair braided after having a terrible experience at another shop the previous day. The lady refused to listen and braided my hair so tight as well as did a completely different hairstyle than the one I requested. I ended up taking out the hair less than 24 hrs later. I came to this shop and Juliet made sure she listened and understood everything I wanted. She took her time and did a GREAT job. I was so happy!! The service was good and she was very friendly. I left very satisfied and will certainly be back again.
