Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value(LONG READ, SORRY!)This is one of the WORST nail salons I’ve ever been to. I made an appointment on July 30th for 11:45 am for me and 4 other people. We got there on time and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seen. When I sat down for my pedicure, I could immediately tell that the woman working on my feet didn’t know what she was doing. She started filing my nails and it hurt. When I pulled my foot away, she apologized and continued doing the same thing. I asked for a squared shape (like I always get) and she removed most of my nail making them look like cubes. My nails were so short and I honestly hate how they look. I have never experienced that before. Not to mention my big toe on the right had a chip in it – my nail was missing in one area on my big toe.. awful.Once I was ready to do my nails, I showed Nancy (one of the owners I think) a picture from Pinterest (shown below) and she told me she could do it for $70. Perfect. So about 45 minutes in, she was barely done with the pink gel polish so I told her never mind, and opted for a simple sticker design with one gem on one finger on each nail (shown below).When I was ready to pay, she told me it was $65 for the acrylics. I told her this made absolutely NO sense, as I only got one design on one nail vs a design on every single nail and she argued with me relentlessly. After going back and forth for a minute, we ended up just paying our totals and leaving annoyed. When we got home, my mother (red nail polish) noticed her toenail polish had completely lifted up. This was unacceptable, considering you pay to have a service done and expect it to last.When went back, we asked the woman, Nancy, to take the polish off and give her her money back, since we didn’t have time to get the nails redone. She argued so profusely, we just left. Worst customer service, over priced, and unprofessional. Not to mention unskilled. Do not come here. I’ve gotten my nails done by Nancy for prom, birthdays, weddings, school dances and I’ve always been treated with such respect. Best salon in the neighborhood.
